He’s not as slow as some make out. He certainly not quick but he doesn’t need to be. He keeps the ball well and shifts it without giving it away.

He’s defo an upgrade on Bitton. So calm in possession that it’s to his detriment at times as it makes him look lackadaisical as *, but I like him.

He needs to start to start converting his chances (as does O'Riley). He is slow but the way we play in general has slowed down since McGregors been out so it's not causing massive issues when we get a couple of goals ahead. Once Cal is back and we are playing at full pelt again may be a different story.

Smart signing. Experienced and fine for Scottish league. Lost a lot of experience with Rogic and Bitton in midfield so has worked out well.

The trolling isn't remotely funny any more. He's pure class and pretty much everyone knows it now.

To be fair, my opinion on him can change about 4 times in one game.

True, doesn't replace their UCL experience but has been to the world cup and the asian cup so knows what high level competion is about.

I was happy enough to see him brought in on a free, and he is a good enough squad player. I do think the game can pass him by at times, like the first half at Tynecastle last week where it was just too quick for him. A game like today is fine for him though, when we had all the ball and were able to dictate the pace of play for basically the full 90 minutes. Tidy on the ball which comes as no surprise, he has always been like that. Certainly hasn’t been a waste of wages, that’s for sure.

I actually thought he strolled it today. He was good. Best I’ve seen him.

Hmm maybe not those words mate, but I'm happy to see him coming onto a game. I had never seen him play before so I didn't really have much expectations.

I'm still not fullly on board though and if I had to use four descriptors it would be....

    Steady, composed, pedestrian and balanced.

In the gastronomic world of desserts he would be rice pudding, nice to have but not the most exciting.

Think he played well, but I don't think he helps Ange's style.

Albeit admittedly it does seem domestically he's starting to find his groove, just feel we need more mobility in midfield.

Think he gets unfair criticism mobility might be t be that if our other midfielders but his passing and overall play allows our creative players to do their thing he keeps the game ticking over calm and his passing is sharp as * esp domestically he's getting in good positions only a matter of time before he scores and then I think the flood gates will open

    This in a nutshell.

He was really good v Hearts, and good again yesterday.
As long as he keeps doing his thing in the SPFL, he´ll be fine.
