Had never heard of him, so didn't expect much - glad to say that I've been pleasantly surprised.

Seems like a perfect fringe player so far.

He does (I think, I’ve never actually seen him play) but that’s what he’s up against.

One thing big Alfredo Mooy is, is reliable.

Pretty sure we have 10 games in the 31/32 days after the internationals, so the more reliable players to come in the bhetter. HH.

He can definitely do a job in coming into the midfield after 60/70mins, my only worry with that in Europe is that Mooy doesn’t have the covering pace though is very good at reading the game and cutting out passes.

Once the big Dane is fit he’ll definitely be contending to start.

People keep pointing out his lack of pace.
Tbf - I don't really see it...? Maybe if you don't lose the ball and misplace passes, you don't have to run around/back chasing the ball in panic?

I honestly thing the guy is a 100% upgrade on McCarthy (if not more)

Somebody please post a video to prove me wrong.

He definitely doesn't have the pace but it is to be proven if that goes against him, it doesn't for Modric.

I don't think anyone is disputing Mooy is a far superior player than McCarthy.

He was unlucky not to get an assist against Shakhtar, that was a great ball he chipped in for GG to attack at the end and he missed it, only for the GK to punch it off GG and it come up agonisingly short.

GG should have got to that before the keeper and put it away.

Pedestrian so far. I think he really sticks out when the team is playing poorly.

Nowhere near good enough to be a starter for us.

Abildgaard and Haksabanovic will be much fitter after international break. Unlikely we'll see much more of him

No doubt the philosophers will blame his woefulness on the pitch or St Mirren’s physicality.

This guy breaks games up and not in a good way. Utter dross.

Think this was a nepotism signing by Ange(he’s entitled to one after the wonders of last season) everyone knew he never fitted our style of play, think Ange wanted to do his bit for Australia’s World Cup cause
