    Defo not taking Dundalk for granted. What I was suggesting is that Lawwell, on paper, could well see it as the easiest draw and release cash now.

    I think the issue that's going to become as clear as day the further we go in this comp is the lack of attacking quality in midfield. Griffiths is more than capable as a finisher, Dembele looks like a good signing and Roberts is making the opposition look like children.

    We are lacking someone to fashion these chances though, Armstrong looks like he can barely shoot or put a killer pass in anywhere. Johansen maybe needs more time to regain confidence since he's only had 60 minutes but we can't rely on that coming back. Plus we all know Brown isn't exactly Pirlo.. McGregor definitely offers something but I think we're lacking someone capable of consistently delivering killer balls.

    Yeah, but at the same time, Astana set up to stifle us. If we draw a team that fancies beating us, they will be more open. We do need a bit of creativity in the middle if we are to do anything at all in the group stages.
