Exactly. Unfortunately the people who spout this type of * are your stereotypical Irish Celtic fans and they are the reason an increasing number of Irish people can't stand Celtic. Yes twitter is full of * but you'd be surprised who many Irish Celtic fans share those kind of those opinions, It is obviously a minority though.

I started going to LOI games at a very young age and love going to games. It's very frustrating that even if Dundalk did qualify for the CL it wouldn't do much for LOI clubs. I doubt the majority of Football fans in Ireland will give a *. There will be a bit of a bandwagon but will do nothing for any of the clubs otehr then Dundalk. It still would be great to see though.

I admire how Scottish people get behind their clubs. I think Scotland have the highest attendances in Europe if you consider the population, would that be right? It's different in Ireland. The GAA still has a strangle hold on things and the majority of Irish people don't understand Football culture of going to games week in week out and the same applies to the GAA. A lot of people are only bothered for the big games.

Stop tempting fate you bar stewards!

After two years in the wilderness, I'll settle for just making it and call that a successful first season for BR.

    Time is the draw?

Just so I know when to polish up my wanking chariot in case it's Dundalk.

    Think it is 11AM, Paul.

Anyway, we need at least 2 in before the deadline, however once again, I can't see it. If we draw Dundalk can guarantee Lawwell will be rubbing his hands in delight as he will feel we won't need to strengthen that greatly.

Yes, I know we all know that makes zero sense due to them knocking out BATE but it is Lawwell we are talking about.

More I think about it, just give me Dundalk please. Want to go to the away leg and I want the easiest possible route for us and that has to be them.

I'd support Dundalk against any of the other teams though.

Beer shavers have that Ben Sahar * who used to play with Chelsea.

34 year old Barda as well who was class for Genk or Gent for years. Still got a bit of ability about him.

Wouldn't be an easy tie and it is once again a long way to go. Unsure whether I'd honestly view that as easier than Kobenhavn. If they knocked out Olympiacos they can't be bad? Surely?

Aye, too many are wanting Beer Sheva simply because they haven't heard of them. You don't knock Olympiacos out over two legs if you don't have something about you. We could do without having to travel that kind of distance having already been to Kazakhstan. I'd rather get Copenhagen than them I think. Obviously Dundalk is the ideal draw.

Leaving aside that Twitter attracts keyboard warrior moron types you are completely correct to call out * like this, they certainly don't represent me or other Celtic fans I know and go to games with but it's another reminder as per another thread we have our fair share of embarrassing dafties amongst our support.

Best thing you can do is not repeat this type of trash.

The comments about LOI being Mickey Mouse is the type of pishy comment we have to put up with from the arrogant English types, let's not go down that route please

Who's the hardest possible draw? It'll save me watching the draw as I'll know who we'll get.

The consensus seems to be that basically anyone except Dundalk and Be'er Sheva will be hard as * and even those last two are no mugs.

Actually think Lawwell might release the cash if we draw Dundalk. He will be thinking about that lovely champions league windfall. He could play safe if we draw,on paper,a harder team.

Can't take Dundalk for granted, mate. They just beat BATE (a team with a better recent record than us) 3-0.
