Before the old huns died every team had 2 home games against us and one from the huns or vice versa so it was equal throughout.Just another shambles from the SFA.

The League is a bit of a mess tbh, weird how no teams play equal games theres always like 2 top and bottom half teams who have to go away or play a team at home 3 times and only have 1 game at the other teams stadium cause its just got to happen that way.

They should extend the League to 14 teams who all play each other once home and away so 26 games then split into 7 and then play each other once home and away again 38 games equal for top and bottom half.

Scottish League must be the only one where teams dont play the same games as each other before or after the split.

Looking at that fixture list, if we're top of the league by mid September the league is won already. Very few games I'd fancy us to drop points in between then and Christmas time.

The Board of Partick Thistle FC has expressed anger and frustration at the fixture list for season 2016/17 announced by the SPFL earlier today, which will put the Club and two other Premiership sides at a sporting and financial disadvantage in the forthcoming season.

In previous seasons where both Rangers and Celtic were in the Premiership, pre-split fixtures have been organised to ensure that every club plays three home games against the Old Firm. Without any notification from the SPFL to the contrary, we had expected that this practice would continue this season and that is the basis on which we and other clubs have budgeted.

However, this season we, Motherwell and Hamilton have been handed only two Old Firm games at home whilst Dundee, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Hearts have four home games. That means an expected loss in revenues for the Club of £120,000 before a ball is even kicked, whilst other clubs will get an unexpected bonus of a similar figure.

Financial implications aside, we believe there is a significant sporting disadvantage created by the fixture list as it stands. Pre-split, we will make four trips away to the two biggest clubs in the country while some clubs will only make two. In the past, each club has made three trips.

It is also worth noting that, for the second time in three seasons, SPFL fixturing means that we will have no competitive match on the second weekend of the campaign.

Having had no communication from the SPFL explaining these changes prior to this morning’s announcement, Partick Thistle intends to seek compensation from the SPFL for all clubs concerned or that they reconsider the fixture list to ensure a level playing field for all

:55::55: dry your eyes ya *. All these teams and their fans hate us then throw their toys out the pram when our fans only go there once. The fixtures should be completely random.

At least the fixtures as they are will help out the national team as the players will have a couple of days break before all the World cup qualifier matches

See that makes perfect sense, I have no idea why the SFA wouldn't implement that system. They must've thought about it surely so maybe someone can fill us in on why not.

The fixtures should be evenly balanced. I'm sure you wouldn't be happy if we had to play teams away twice but only once at home. And not for the money, for the points.

What if the SFA do compensate thistle then they get top 6 finish & play celtic & them at home after the split then got that money for nothing so they should just take the fixtures giving to them n shut it they barely have any fans go to their games anyway & its happened to teams the last 4 years without them in the league if they had to go to parkhead twice & only play us at home once they never complained
