    The starting line up tonight . There was only 4 Scottish guys.

    My son and his 2 mates (who are Scottish) were invited down to England to show how good ( or bad) they were.

    There is not one Scottish club scouting this.

    I think his point is that there's too much money in the game now and we should be more focused on developing Scottish players?

    The exact details are as follows....
    Even though Salzburg, Steaua and Viktoria Plzen lost last night, we still have 5 teams ranked higher than us

    So basically 5 of the following will need to lose in the playoffs

    League Route:
    Man Utd (Seeded)
    Valencia (Seeded)
    Bayer Leverkusen (Seeded)
    Shaktar Donetsk (Seeded)
    Sporting Lisbon (Seeded)
    CSKA Moscow (Unseeded)
    Lazio (Unseeded)
    Club Brugge (Unseeded)

    Champions Route:
    Basel (Seeded)

    Lazio, CSKA Moscow and Club Brugge are not seeded. So basically whoever they play both teams are higher than us, so whoever wins in those matches moves us up a place (x3).
    But we still need 2 more results to go our way. So we need results to go our way the other 2 matches in the league route involving Rapid Vienna and Monaco and also Basel in champions route.
    Really depends on the draw. Basel are favorites whoever they play, but if they get a tough draw (Partizan?) then you never know. You'd fancy Monaco to do well against whoever they are drawn, but Rapid Vienna needs a lot of luck in both the actual games and the draw.

    I really don't want to draw Maccabi. Israel is scorching right now and they're playing with a lot of confidence, weird * could happen. Ideally I want to draw some Eastern Bloc team that thinks it's still 1983.

    Only if Scotland were in the top 8 leagues. Only 8groups. There are 12 automatic league winner places.

    So * Spain have 4auto qualify this year with Vslencia a possible 5th team in CL.
