    Well, just because of the injuries and players short on fitness.

    Reus and Gomez out was a big miss at the time. And they had a few players who weren't fully fit, like Hummels and Schweini.

    No Reus (their biggest attacking threat), prone to defensive mistakes, no out and out striker with the exception of an old Klose.

    I'm delighted they've won it though. Love Germany as a country (obviously).
