    Its weird how the pots work in the groups. Strachans first season in champions league we were in pot 2. Benfica were in pot 3. Then the following year. We were in pot 3 and benfica were in pot 2 despite us making the last 16. Must have been something to do with us losing the points from the 02/03 season

    4 more ties will be played tomorrow.

    Seeded clubs knocked out today - BATE Borisov (Belarusian Champions), HJK Helsinki (Finnish Champions), FK Ekranas (Lithuanian Champions) and KF Skenderbeu (Azerbaijan Champions).

    The coefficients for clubs in CL and Europa will be changed on UEFA site after Thursday this week once this round of both competitions matches are complete. Hopefully our wins will move us up a bit but unlikely because of the low ranking of Cliftonville.

    Celtic manager Neil Lennon hopes to add at least one more new signing ahead of next week's Champions League qualifier against Elfsborg.

    But he dismissed as "just speculation" reports that it would be Wolves striker Kevin Doyle.
    "That's the main thing we are looking at now - trying to add to the squad, predominantly before Thursday if we can," Lennon told BBC Scotland.

    "We're looking at a number of options for a number of positions."
    Asked, following the 5-0 aggregate win over Cliftonville , what those positions might be, he replied: "Striker, midfield, left-back - because Emilio Izaguirre could do with a rest now and again - and maybe a left-sided player as well."

    Exactly it shows we're back as far as I'm concerned..
    We're recognised again in Europe as a massive club and a dangerous one,I think before last season that had been lacking for a couple of years if that makes sense

    Pretty sure as champions we play the same route as last season. Seeded champions playing unseeded champions. The teams who finished in qualifying spots will play runner-ups like when we played arsenal under TM.
