What a performance from the boys, first semi final in 24 years, and playing absolutely brilliantly at the moment, Warby is an absolute beast and will no doubt be one of the best forwards in the world soon.

Nice to see the english out aswell, looking forward to next week already!

Still gutted with that Ireland result this morning. I was really hoping we'd do even better at this WC. Fair play to the Welsh, though. They played some game.

To be fair we were not * at all. In fact we played quite well for most of the game. The Wales last ditch defence though was just unreal and won them the game.

Credit to Wales last night and good luck in the semi-final. The defence was the difference in the game. After giving up a try right off the bat I thought Ireland were actually very good for the rest of the first half. We absolutely battered the Welsh line and I still cannot believe how good the Welsh defending was. That was the winning of the game for them because for the most part Ireland were in the Welsh 25 but we just could not break through. Whereas on the few visits Wales made into our 25 in the second half our defence simply was nowhere near as good as the Welsh. Nice to see England getting humped by France though. That takes a bit of the sting out of last night.

Not much of a rugby fan but when Scotland are playing on tv I tend to watch it. Just the same as football really with Scotland. Get a massive sucker punch and lose.

I had a feeling wales would beat ireland, but i didn't see the french beating england to be honest, even Scotland would have given the french a better game.

Wishing I'd put a double on now - had a strong feeling Wales were in the zone, and fancied France to beat the (self-)overrated English too.

Not to worry - like virtue, England crashing & burning is its own reward... :icon_mrgreen:

9 handling errors? Awful, just not good enough for a World Cup quarter final.

Seriously, I got absolutely no idea how the * the Wallabies just won that game... something of a minor miracle. The Springboks dominated every faucet of the game, had 76% possession, field position, lineouts, scrums, turnovers, everything... the only thing the Wallabies did all night was tackle, tackle, tackle.

    11-9

Unbelievable defensive display by the Wallabies... and it had to be. The Springboks just had so much of the ball, especially in the second half. There are bound to be some very tired bodies in the Australian camp... tired... but very satisfied. :50:

Argentina leading NZ 7-6... almost 1/2 time.

Edit... Strike that... All Blacks just got a penalty, NZ 9-7 ARG

Kiwis won 33-10... Argentina gave them a good fight, but the Kiwis overall quality got them through. Sets up a huge semi-final next weekend.

    Australia NZ
    Wales France.

Interesting semis. Australia and NZ have both had major injury problems.
