That was a quality game. Don't usually watch rugby that often but that was quite good. :icon_mrgreen:

Looked routine for us to begin with, then before ye knew it we were drawing 24 each. :97::56:

Got the act the gether at the end though. 34 - 24, resultttt :50:

Well it's 80 mins under our belts, and 5 points on the board.

We played some good rugby in a couple of spells, but we're going tro have to maintain that standard throughout the whole match against Argentina.

    * sakes! They cut to the interviews after the Scotland game...........the Scottish manager is English(I already knew that part) and the guy who scored two tries for Scotland has an English accent as well!!

So this is the England side that's going to win the tournament?

If Argentina had been able to kick penalties they'd have had it wrapped up by half time.:56:

You could say the same about England though pal, cant remember the last time I saw Wilkinson miss 4 or 5 kicks in a match, some of which were * easy for his usual standards. Agree though, that if this is the best England have got to offer then they wont be getting far.

How * biased were the commentators as well man, embarrassing how every 5 minutes they're saying 'Come on England' and all that baws.

That just makes it that much funnier when England get pumped out of the tournament.

Hopefully it will be Scotland, France or Australia that puts them out. That will really * them off.

The England result wasn't ideal from Scotland's point of view. We wanted England to destroy Argentina and shatter their confidence. England will win the group, there's no doubt about that, no matter how bad they played last night. If they're safely through by the time we play them in the last game then we have a chance to * a win. Argentina getting the bonus point is bad for Scotland's chances of going through.

Comfortable win in the end for the Wallabies, after a tight 1/2 half. 6-6 at the break, but 4 unanswered tries in the second half really highlighted the Wallabies attacking strength. Good way to kick off their World Cup campaign.

    Ireland v USA next...

    * man, so close. Shouldve won that game, played absolutely superbly and Priestland shouldve nailed his drop goal near the end. Disappointing but definately enough to suggest that we're not finished in this tournament, by a long way.

Best game I've watched so far, Wales deserved the win and were very unfortunate but they had there for the taking when they missed that drop goal.

    Great game for the neutrals.

    * hate SA, was really hoping Wales could get it. Also just want to add that I'm extremely proud of the US team against Ireland.

It's in relation to the number of tries a team scores. It was introduced to award attacking play.
