    Correction Announcement

    Mea culpa. I screwed up. Had in my spreadsheet a typo that have just discovered and it's meant had 2 entries for The Rock (had one spelt 'The Rpck'). Which obviously effects it's position in the Rankdown significantly, when the 2 entries have been combined.

    As such Beauty and the Beast makes the step up to 100, and everything previously posted now all move up one.

    Apologies for this error - it's completely on me, and will reveal The Rock's true place in the Rankdown in due course.

    I meant on my spreadsheet that recorded the rankings whne they were incoming on my laptop, not the list I posted here. You'll be happy to know it (The Rock) has significantly improved it's overall placing compared to that one outlying vote, fwiw.

    And in fairness, a lot of those already revealed are movies that only got 1 (lower end of) top 10 vote from people overall, in addition to supporting rankings outside of the top 10), that help with weighting and breaking ties etc.

    When you look at the budget, wow this Film punches above it's weight and it is already a fantastic Film. Made my top 10, yes a Fantastic Film.

    Think a lot of folk assumed others would include it (Titanic) in their lists, so didn't bother with it themselves. Either that or just had so many other favs to fit this in. Or simply just don't rate it. Whatever the case is, only 1 person included it in their actual Top 10, hence where it has ended up. I did say there would be more than a few surprises, and it won't be the last.

    Sadly, that very same reason has to be at least partly responsible for the original tragedy also. :(
