It didn’t read like a specific attack on Celtic fans to me. Football fans aren’t necessarily bigots, but bigots can be football fans. I’ve witnessed homophobia, discomfort at pink or rainbow strips, and discomfort with ‘blue’ strips both on this site and at Celtic Park all in the last year alone - so to say you’ve never seen it in the years you’ve been here would suggest you’re either very lucky to have missed out on such drivel, or you are wilfully ignorant.

If by ‘the blue top’ you mean the grey one with the tiny bit of teal on it, why should it matter if other teams wear the colour? If our away kit was yellow, would it not clash with Livingston?

I’m not even going to start on your beacon of light line - it doesn’t make any sense.

I agree there is homophobia in all sections of society but I honestly haven't seen it expressed here, probably because the mods are generally pretty good at censoring things that incite hatred.

I don't see the big deal about not wanting to wear blue strips, what's the big deal there? Again, I've never seen a thread where that was an issue.

Also I haven't seen a thread relating to a rainbow kit, was that a one off thing to show support on Pride day?

My basic point was those accusations are general problems in society and it felt as if Celtic fans were being singled out?

Surely you're not suggesting Livingstone's colours have the same effect as the huns? Do you think they would be happy if their 3rd kit was green and white?

 

Home, away(black), 3rd (white).

Would be * excellent.

Next year subtle tweaks to the home, a yellow/hold version of the away, and a silver 3rd.

Following year, revert back to this example but with updates.

I'll admit, once I see KT in it and his big lovely thighs stretching and breaking the material for the shorts I'll no longer need *.

However with him out of it, it's probably our worst home kit in my living memory.

 

Plus we had one in the invincible season.

 

So we all have to love pink football jerseys to satisfy you and all the gay Celtic fans out there....most bizarre post I’ve read in a long time and the competition is pretty stiff on that score....

I think pink jerseys such as the Man Utd one by and large look utter filth and * knows what’s cringeworthy about that opinion, is the fact I hate orange ones as well equally as cringeworthy on your sliding scale?

 

I’ve often felt that myself and that goes for all clubs not just Celtic.

It does make you wonder what the procedure is regarding signing these designs off, if the club are given various options and they plump for the * ones we eventually produce and sell then clearly criticism can be aimed at the club but my gut feeling is Celtic possibly have less input than we think, I think there lies the problem.

I genuinely don’t believe some of the rubbish we have produced over the years and in particular the away jerseys could have been given the thumbs up by anyone remotely “Celtic Minded” or at least I hope not

 

I actually think we've had some nice away jerseys recently.....3rd kits have been the issue for me...
