I've already given my reasons. It's embarrassing that the only sell out crowd we'll get is against a club only 3 years old. Crowds have dwindled since they went down. Shows the amount of fickle fans Celtic have. Yes big games attract big crowds but Rangers being in the championship shouldn't stop people going to games.

Rangers are probably the only team I hate.

I dislike the vast majority of English teams because a large portion of their fans seem to be overweight, racist skinheads. The degree to which they all hate every other team in their country, despite not having any major rivalry with them, is truly shocking. Most of them label any player who dares to leave their club as a "scumbag traitor," they burn the shirts of big players who leave, and just generally act like Huns.

Obviously that doesn't go for every club in the country, but it seems to be quite prevalent behaviour for many. Also, they are all * on Twitter and the internet in general (Celtic are a League One standard team, et cetera).

Sorry mate, but I've lived in England for two years now and your perspective is widely skewed. The vast majority are just normal lads who support their team. The rivalries between teams are no-where near as fierce as you make out, it's mostly banter.

However, you do get the worst kind of cretins spouting * online, from the safety of being behind a computer screen.

I've met a few English lads at Bohs games.Derby fans, Villa fans and a scouse Liverpool fan. They were sound and real football fans. They couldn't understand why more Irish didn't support the domestic league. I actually had quite a lot in common with them

I get a good laugh when I see the abuse English fans get on here. Some really narrow minded views on English fans.

    That's were you are wrong.
There would be too many seats taken up by police separating us from them that the capacity would be a lot less than full.:icon_mrgreen:

It's pretty hard to come with 10 clubs you actually hate - the only teams I properly hate are any of the rangers clubs, England, Man U and Liverpool. I quite like to see Chelsea lose.

Every other team is just a team where I would actively support their opposition if they were playing. Hamburg because of their affiliation with Rangers, which goes back a lot further back than Albertz which someone had said. They also have a rivalry with St. Pauli who a lot of people quite like, myself included.

Well there was once a club called Rangers who were liquidated. Hence - Oldco

Now there is a tribute act called The Rangers/Sevco. Hence - Newco

    Duhhhhh:smiley-laughing002:

No offence bud but is there something mentally wrong with you? Rangers were liquidated in 2012 Do you understand liquidation?

I don't get to any because I don't need to. I have my own team in my city. Celtic are my second team. I'm more of a fan then a supporter.

It's *? The standard is pretty good and if more people attended it would be much better. The standard doesn't matter anyway it's about the club. I guarantee you theres far more Celtic fans in the south then LOI fans. The reason for that is because of the glamour of Celtic, it's a massive club. If Hibs had been more successful in the last 60 years they would have good support in Ireland. You know yourself that Ireland loves a winner. It's glory hunting. I don't doubt your passion for the club. I know you'd still support them if things aren't going well. My Dad and Brother are Leeds fans and still go over to watch and they're *.

Yes there are more proper GAA fans in the country. we don't have a soccer culture in Ireland which is why most people look abroad for their clubs.
