Sometimes there's a thin line between "regular fans" and "hooligans". Used a different word at first, changed it to hooligans so everybody would get the meaning. :icon_mrgreen:

Just calling celtic fans reptiles will be enough. Whatever you add to it is irrelevant.

You just did. And besides Feyenoord and Celtic fans are know for their massive support. So I don't see the problem there are loads of similarities. 45.000 or more people coming to the stadium for every game. Always singing always supporting they are famous for it really. Enough to compare.

Let's leave it at that then.

No they are directing these chants at ajax people who call themselves jews. They don't direct them to real jews. I have never in my life met a Feyenoord supporter with any sort of anti "real jews" or * attitude. They won't be tolerated as I told you. Nazis are not welcome in Rotterdam they are hated because of the terror they inflicted upon the city.

In fact my jewish family consists of majority Feyenoord supporters. Everyone thinks those 5000 people who sing anti jew songs to wind up ajax are ignorant and dumb. But everyone knows it has nothing to do with real jews. And the only purpose is to wind up the ajax supporters and even these people know it has nothing to do with Feyenoord being anti semetic. It's a long history of trying to wind eachother up. Ajax fans sing "When spring comes We throw bombs on Rotterdam a thousand red ones a thousand yellow ones ,beautifull ones" to the tune of tulips from amsterdam. They wear t-shirts with "* Sunday" together with pictures of planes bombing the Rotterdam city centre which killed a massive amount of people. Do I therefore view them as * or terror supporters? Nop because all it is aimed at is trying to wind up Feyenoord fans. I think vinniebbq ( who is an ajax man ) and me agree that it should be seen in the context of a rivalry that has gone out of hand a few times.

I think you just gave the definition of a standard hooligan. But yeh there are a few thousands of hooligans like that. All over the globe really. But you can dislike Feyenoord that is not a problem to me. I don't like every club in football either. But if you would call the whole of the club anti semetic reptiles that is something else.

There are similarities, but there's no relevance.

Only "winding them up", as you put it, goes beyond that. Since Ajax adopted the Jewish image, they got a lot of abuse which actual Jewish Ajax supporters regard as unnecessary and offensive and many of them don't go to games because of that.

So I think it's an issue, not just part of rivalry that's so common it should be accepted just like that. Singing about bombing Rotterdam and this anti-semitic crap is sick and shouldn't be part of football game, even if it's a big derby like this one. Waving Palestinian flags can be considered as wind-up (as done by Feyenoord fans), this can't.

Big hooligan problem for Feyenoord as well. Club can hardly be likeable when such a large part of support acts like that.

I can confirm that too. However, that sorts of things like '* Sunday' and stuff are horrible. That's not part of a 'healthy rivalry'. But I think that sort of actions will never stop.

I've always wondered this, all the Chelsea fans I know had never heard of their so called brotherhood with rangers. Most of them probably couldn't point out Glasgow on a map
