Surely if the United kits were real. The away design would the same as the home? Look at the parts at the neck. They're totally different. Strange for home & away kits to be so different.

From what i am told the managers of shops go to launches of the new stock which will be be sold at their branch in the following months, the next 4 months or so. Only one of each item will be on show at the launch. Then they can begin to reduce prices of stock in there shop that will no longer be in production or back in stock due to newer stock, ie football tops/ trainers and so on.

So far it looks like Nike and Umbro are gonna continue leading the way in quality football shirt designs.
Adidas and Puma's efforts are nauseating by and large, apart from maybe the Wednesday one.
I like the United designs (though you'll never catch me wearing one).

Football jerseys should be plain and understated, it's not Rugby League.
    * only knows what the Hoops would look like if Adidas got their hands on them :eek1:

It raises awareness for a start, all these places rely on some form of extra funding, What Wednesday are doing is promoting the hospital charity trust and making donations themselves towards an organisation in which so many families in the South Yorkshire area have been thankful for.

The same with what Villa with Acorns and Barcelona with Unicef are doing too I guess.

A nice touch in the day and age when football has become obsessed with greed.

Aye, great gesture from Wednesday there. Is that Beevers in the home kit? Good big player apparently.

    Yeah that's him.

He's been on the bench lately, still only a kid though so hopefully he'll come back stronger next season....
