Agree we would miss his presence if he were injured, total commitment for 90, personality on the park. As I've mentioned in another thread though, his passing has been pretty sub standard recently, misplaced short passes and heavy Hollywood over the top through balls. Early season so should tighten this up.

Sigh .. I'll just never be his biggest fan. I think he found his level as a defensive spoiler, but there are undoubted limitations in his game. He'l never be the greatest passer or goalscorer . but no doubt he's shown his value to the team.

When he was injured last year the team was really bad I think not only is he a good player but also a very good captain/motivating factor for the team.

Great post....when I read something like that it makes me realize how honest, committed and informed our fans can be.
I've always thought Broony was made of the right stuff to do well at Celtic and although he lacked a bit of something special initially, I feel he has matured into a great asset to Celtic and I believe he is the type of player that demands of others around him...even if he's not playing so brilliantly that day himself.....in short.....a good captain of a team that historically have very high standards and high expectations with fans that love commitment to the badge.
I don't think he can be faulted for his efforts.
    Yeah....great post.

Love the man. We are not the same team without him. He may not score many goals but his presence in the team is unmatchable by anyone.

    Worth every penny.

    Big, big massive sigh,,,
There are limitations in everyone's game.

He's more than a defensive spoiler, which by the way he is incidentally
very very good at, he is a driving force & leader by example.

He is very good at twisting & turning whilst running with the ball, & gives
100% commitment every time he pulls the shirt on.
His touch is a bit off at the moment but will come good soon,
with all the energy he expends then you would expect it to be worse more consistently later on in the game but that's not the case.

He has got rid of his hot head / liability tag which many levelled at him, whilst keeping his extremely combative style.
style which is another huge plus.

100%. I think he won't retire until he wins the 10. That would literally make my life if that happened.
