There have been other teams linked with him but hasn't he made it clear that he's happy at Celtic?

If he's missing from the qualifiers then we'll probably lose out on another 20 odd million so yea, pretty sure he was worth the 4.4.

Really don't know how you could watch our games when he is playing, watch our games when he isn't playing, and then vote no. Just ludicrous.

Superb player and captain. Regardless if teams want him or not he won't go anyway.

Future Celtic manager I reckon too.

    Amazing OP

I had been one of his biggest critics but there is no doubt he has been a bargain for 4.4m.

Remember watching him in one of first games v QPR pre-season and thinking then he was a future captain.

Seems to relish playing under Ronny and has had a good season.

His leadership in a successful European campaign under Ronny will eradicate any remaining doubt. Our young side will look to his experience to guide them, he needs keep his own discipline. When he has his game face on European nights you can see the refs thinking to themselves he's getting booked pronto.

There is a part of me that still is unsure whether a side based around Broonie is good enough to compete consistently at CL level.

We are a much better side with him in though. \o/

Great player , be interesting to see how he develops further in the coming seasons under Ronny . He is becoming an increasingly cultured player and i can see his best years being his early thirties ( like so many good CM's ) .

I must have been one of his biggest critics on this site. I don't know if it had taken time for him to get adjusted to Celtic or me to understand what role (kind of player) he was about to turn into.

I kinda always expected a modern (mainland) player, considering the money and he had been young back then. a player with vision, good passing ability, above average technique and so on. in fact we got a player with passion and heart, a never surrending fighting machine who can run around the pitch for 120+ mins. we didn't get a modern footballer, we got an old school warrior in Brown and that's excellent the way it's been.

    a leader, a warrior, a captain.

Would you have thought Lenny would have ended up a manager ? I think Broony is a potential manager in the future if not with us somewhere else.

Aggressive and in your face, thats where the similarities end for me.For me, Lenny always struck me as intelligent, even as a player....Brown doesnt give me that feel.
I may be wrong of course, but thats my impression.

It's no secret that we tend to perform better with Brown in the side 90% of the time, compared to when he doesn't play.
