Stick your glasses on and watch it a few more times.

At no point does Brown "kick" his back.

It is as clear as day. He kicked him in the back and I've seen it about 6 times at least today on Sky and I seen it in some replays last night. There is no doubt at all that he touched his back.

Aye ive seen it must be about 10 times now and he doesnt touch his back, he barely touches his arm, probably hit him at the force a 2 year old would slap you.

    Did he *.

I've seen the replay about 30x today - at no point have I seen ANY contact with his back. His leg literally goes through the space between the opening of his arm and back.

If his fist had swished through fresh air...the outcome would have been the same.

So his shin touched his back and his foot gets him on the arm, hope that sorts it all out now.:50:

Thats why I think that the linesman probably got in the refs ear as he could see that better than most.

It in no way excuses that wee * reaction mind but as soon as he felt the contact, he was going to take advantage of it.

    Intent is enough.

See my post earlier in the thread on Scott, I love the guy. I've met him personally and he is a fantastic Celtic Captain both on and off the park.

Last night he was in the wrong, 100%.

I don't know - It would seem to me that the linesman would have seen the view from the other photos, and it would have been the ref who was in the best position to see what is in that video above.

I'm 100% behind the thought that the wee *'s reaction spurred the red.

    Yup.

Browns actions and Neymars reaction are two completely, separate things.

I wouldn't write that theory off. Plus Busquets mouthing as well.

The big worry we now have imo is that we are light in CM for the next game. I hope Joe will be fit and play well but he is realistically our only other decent option there against Ajax.

Whatever. The ref was all set to show a yellow - he had it in his hand ffs - until Neymar saw and seized an opportunity to get our captain sent off.

Brown was in the wrong for even thinking about giving a diving * a chance to be a diving *. Neymar was in the wrong for being a diving little *.
But the ref decided the actual foul was only a yellow card offence.

Intent intent intent. THE FACT IS that Scott Brown would not have got sent off last night had Neymar not cheated, dived, play acted and over exaggerated. That is an undeniable fact, clear to all with working eyeballs.

I always thought he had immense natural talent, athleticism and never say die qualities. The price tag haunted him a bit as he was not a mature player yet. Still I thought he had a great first season and early 2nd he won POTY in his third season I think. He was an injured mess under Mogga and even for part of Lenny's time. I think a lot of people were not too understanding of the serious nature of his injury which could have finished him. He was simply immense since he returned from injury. He is a much more mature player now, probably at his peak. I agree with that post that if he could shoot he could be player for one of the very top European sides. Now he is worth far more than his transfer cost. I think although he has had some difficult periods, mainly to do with injury, he always has looked to be a potetially top top player. Another thing I like about him is he is a bit daft. There are too many serious heads in football nowadays and a daft charachter like him brings a smile to my face.

I think Broony has been well worth the money. He has come out and apologised for his actions in the sending off and I would like to leave it there. Hopefully he has learnt a lesson here and he will cut this out of his game, he doesn't need it and it does Celtic no favours.

First name on the team sheet. He'll get over this incident.
