Would you accept £6m for him if he was our player and we got a transfer offer of that in from City?

It's all relative though. If he had the same impact to City as he's had for our team, then £13-15M would be seriously under-valued in EPL figures.

Would love the lad to stay, £13M is a lot of cash though. One of those dilemma's we often have on here, albeit a bit lower value. 3x £4M players, or 1x £12M. Think i'd rather go with the former option. I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever in Rodgers transfer targets.

He will be a huge loss.

His ability to glide past players is something we unfortunately won't be able to replace.

    Capable of brilliance.

I don't think it would take £12 million...

I'd be surprised if they'd let him go for that, young, talented, English... £12m is a snip down on England.

Look at his age, though. He can go on to be as good as Lubo in a few years. As Minty says, we'd more than recoup that a few years down the line when the Man Utd's and Chelsea's came calling (though I'd imagine City would probably have some kind of 'first refusal' clause written into any transfer).

It's a tough one , a lot of money for us to spend but he could end up being the man who makes the difference in qualifying for the group stages of the champions league which would pay back the transfer fee. He is a special talent who is only going to get better , we would recoup the money and some when we did sell him so I would say if we have the chance then sign him

I'd be surprised if he even gets a spot on the bench for a league game.

They'll go and spend 300 million in the summer on talent and he'll either rot or be loaned out to a Hull or Stoke or something like that. That's when he could become a £12 million player.

As it stands, he's worth 2/3 of that to Celtic maximum.

Same mate, I think for young English taleneted guys they automatically go for £12m and higher. Just the money that kicks about down there.

    I think he's probably worth the 12.
However given our budget to spend that much is a massive decision.
He's gotten better this year & can see him being a class act if he spends his career as a starter somewhere rather than a squad player or bench warmer.

I know but 12mill out of a 15mill budget. It doesnt make sense. So wed be left with basicly same team as this season bar another 3milioon player.

He will get better and better and his value will go up so yes it's worth paying that for him.

I'd be happy with two quality additions in the summer. Sinclair was £3m odds, Roberts and another player of Sinclair's ability in the summer? I'd be delighted with that.

He didn't cost Man City £12mnit was £5m with significant addons he has played 50 games for us and zero from what I know for city. As good a player he is I would say £7m tops with addons or a percentage of future sale.

PR only has to look across the changing room at Sinclair to see how damaging sitting out a season at Man City can be. Financially he must be set up for life anyway, so for his development it's now all about playing opportunities.

Staying at Celtic guarantees another championship title run in, a miminum of domestic cup semi finals/finals and hopefully a good run in Europe.

With Man City losing today, Pep is now bound to spend and strengthen certain areas of his squad.
Unfortunately I cannot see PR forcing his way past Navas, Sane, Silver or Stirling.

He can also look at Denayer, bet he's overjoyed to be bottom of the prem at Sunderland.

I think we should tell any club who comes with less than 15 million for KT to * off. I would be tempted to sell when it reaches at least 20 million.

Think this answers your question. 12 million for Paddy is fair enough
