Really good player, one of the strangest situations ive seen with a Celtic player. Doesn’t suit us but is well above heading back to a relative nobody in hia homeland.

Maik Nawrocki is likely to leave Celtic on loan this summer.
Polish club Pogon Szczecin have already reached out to the Scottish champions in a bid to land the 24-year-old centre-half, as was confirmed by their sports director, Tan Kesler.
He told local media: "We have talked to Maik Nawrocki of Celtic," as he admitted interest but there is understood to be competition from at least one club in Germany for his signature.
Nawrocki is still believed to have a future at Parkhead long-term but the Hoops want him to gain more experience away on loan.
As I told you exclusively for CeltsAreHere, it is understood that some inside Celtic Park would prefer Nawrocki to play his football in Germany.
One unnamed German club, as confirmed to us by a source close to the situation, have made their interest clear having previously been interested in a move for the player back in January.
Brendan Rodgers wanted to keep hold of the Pole as backup for his defensive spots and the manager was vindicated when he stepped in to face Raith Rovers, Rangers, Hearts and Aberdeen towards the end of the campaign.

Notice an article saying his future isn't over and will come back next summer.

Would reek of Rodgers no being here as he surely doesn't have a future with him

That was the exact thought I had when I saw that on Rodgers.

The other thinking I had was it could be lip service and the reality is we don’t want to swallow a £3m loss on him so won’t sell for what we could get this summer, therefore we believe he will do well on loan and we can get our original value or close to it back.

Aye I agree. Its going to be one of the two.

May be that we want to build his value again and a move, even to Bundesliga II could do that.

Yeah I don’t think in Germany there is the gulf between the top end of Bundesliga II and the bottom half of Bundesliga as there is in England between EPL and Championship. Teams seem to be able to come up and be competitive enough to stay in the top league, Ligue 2 in France is similar.

I actually think both those leagues are good places to look for talented players both youngsters coming through or taking their first steps in Europe like Ao Tanaka or players going there to rebuild careers like Tzolis before moving on.

Be far better for us in terms of suitors if he did well..
