Absolute shitebag. Needs to learn from that and fast. A performance that suggests he never had belief about our chances.

I’m not sure about shitebag, totally outclassed I’d say. He came in to CL games last season and done far better, he was like a deer in the headlights and couldn’t recover. But our full midfield was.

He's been decent in other European games, it was just one of those nights when most of the team never performed. At 21 and 22, both him and Engels will improve.

I'd say that was the proper definition of a shitebag.

I’d say hiding like Kuhn and Engels were rather than being caught out and in shock at being futile against the opponent, and it getting on top of you but still trying albeit uselessly isn’t a shitebag. He tried to look for the ball and take part, and because he did he was noticeably awful.

Compare to Engels, who hid, and whilst awful his name got mentioned 70 mins in and the general consensus was wait he’s still on the pitch, that was shitebag. Hiding. Bernardo was *, truly terrible but he didn’t hide, him trying not to be a shitebag is what made him noticeably * terrible.

His performance wasn’t good enough, definitely, but there’s a difference between that and a shitebag one for me.

Case in point for that for me is Calmac was largely the same, awful, didn’t hide, was in shock and overwhelmed, not hiding or shitebag performance either. Just *. Engels and Kuhn, and by the end Trusty. That was shitebag.

He always carries a goal threat and has the aggression to handle the Scottish game.

I actually thought he was quite meh..

Showed some desire winning the ball back but some of his passing and set pieces were really poor..

Bizarre calling him a shitebag regarding the other night.

He was quite literally the anthisesis of shitebag in the sense that he was pressing like a mad man up beside Kyogo trying to recover the ball.

It was that dysfunctional, overly optimistic press which absolutely * us the other night - too optimistic in my view. You can’t then say he was a shitebag on that same basis.

For what it’s worth, thought he looked well when he came on today. Did far more than Hatate domestically (as usual)

Very articulate, humble and professional. On a footballing note, he has loads of potential and can be a great player for us.

Bernardo, McGregor, Hatate with McCowan replacing Reo after 60/70 could be the way forward.
Thought Paulo was really good at times he has that ability to drop the shoulder and drive forward and find space in the middle even at this level.

Absolutely underrated in what he does.

Massive jinking run in the middle of the park that just gave us a massive release.

He's so understated. Just does the simple things very well.

Think he has to be our 2nd choice centre mid starter for us going forward after cal with 3rd choice rotating between Hatate engels and mccowan. Was class as usual when he came on

His attitude is good. On the rare occasion he gave it away, he chased it down and stopped their attack.
