I don't watch WWE but I like to watch the big events like Royal Rumble & WM. This looks like a really good line-up so I'll definitely watch it! When did they bring back the intercontinental title?

That Divas photo is a little on the strange side. Anyone else see something off about it? Who's the chick on the far left, for example...looks like some fan just photoshopped herself in there.:56:

Either way, a time for a bathroom break, if ever there was one.

    * couldn't even squeeze Natalya in.

Maria Menounos mate. She's officially in a match at WrestleMania now, as Eve and Beth "invaded" the set of her show "Extra" and demanded that Maria and Kelly face them in a tag team match on April 1st.

Nothing more than a bathroom break anyway, or an opportunity to get more food and drink :icon_mrgreen:

I felt 1997-2002 (the 'Attitude' years) saw the emergence of some really bland characters who tried too hard to be "badass" - The Rock being a prime example.

Also, the whole anti-hero phenomenon that permeated the WWF Attitude Era was essentially copied from WCW who were already starting to champion 'heels' as the face of the business, rather than the traditional all-American babyfaces.

Hogan -and the NWO - represented this transformation better than anyone.

The Rock was hardly bland. If anyone tried to hard to be badass it was HHH or even Austin.

Hogan and the NWO are what * WCW imo. They didn't let young talent flourish, just kept the same old guys going for as long possible. Guys like Jericho, Guerrero, Benoit, Mysterio, Austin did/are doing very well in WWE when they were going nowhere in WCW

Anyway on topic, can't wait for Wrestlemania. After all the build up, I hope the Rock Cena match isn't a let down. I'm looking forward to both World title matches, hope Sheamus beats Bryan as I can't stand him

HIAC should be good as well. HBK adds something different to it

Only Cena could ruin a perfectly decent match, but not while he's in the ring with the most electrifying man in sports entertainment!

WCW was humping the WWF in the Monday night ratings during the height of the NWO’s appeal.

WCW was turned into a joke by the ridiculous storylines, massive contracts, internal power struggles and some pretty horrific PR exercises.

When WCW began to trip themselves up, McMahon capitalised and basically knocked them for six – they were never to recover.

But those guys you mentioned added nothing to the WWF and are precisely the kind of bland, boring characters I'm talking about.

Give me a break, and keep that nonsense to the general WWE thread, found here: http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/showthread.php?t=18398&page=477

Two of those wrestlers are dead, now. Show a little respect. Not to mention both were excellent technical wrestlers, trained by the best, and helped bring the industry to an all-new level. Benoit, in particular, was a favourite of mine. He lived and breathed wrestling.

    'Bland'...

I honestly couldn’t give a * whether they’re dead or not. It’s not going to change anything - as it’s absolutely irrelevant.

Benoit was a very poor man’s Bret Hart, I feel sorry for anyone who would idolise such mediocrity.

Each to their own I suppose.

Considering the Harts themselves trained him, I very much doubt they would've settled for him being a mere 'mediocre' wrestler, as they were renowned for being * to train under.
