Classify a player who has been on the books at Rangers as a Celtic fan?

It came across my mind with the likes of Ross McCormack... scoring for rangers running away celebrating and then years later saying hes a Celtic supporter.

Personally, I would never sign for them because of the main reason I'm a Celtic fan, but these players who do can't say their Celtic fans surelY?

Yes. They're only making a living at the end of the day. Outside of Rangers, they've got a life and if Celtic is a part of their live, then they're fans.

 

I would sign him, good player that is starting to look the part down south, He says hes a celtic fan so why not get him in,

I'm sure that if you were playing football for your local team and rangers came in with a decent money offer you would sign for them ?

yes all he's doing is the best for his career, personally i would never pull on a rangers top and play for them,but if he decides it will help his career then so be it

Yes, they are Celtic fans - it's only a job, i couldn't do it but just because they are employed by the enemy doesn't stop them from being a Celtic fan.

exactly they guy is only doing what he has to make his name, I dont no if I could do it but if they offered me the money and gave me the chance to make myself a big name I owuld have to seriously consider it

I can understand why one would sign for them, and I would not begrudge them for doing so.... just cudnae do it myself tho

 

I think Ross McCormack is choking to engineer himself a move to the Celtic. Ever since he left Rangers he has been * bent on proving them wrong. There's no better way to do it than to go on and be a top top player for Celtic.

He probably looks back and i'd bet he feels ashamed and embarassed.

 

Ye and I bet if he does come here huns will start laughing and say he's just a rangers reject, then he'll score against them just like robson * scummy morons

And anyway, how can you compare playing for rangers and being a Celtic fan

to playing for Barcelona - one of Celtic's biggest allies - and being a Swedish guy who supports Helsingborg but played for Celtic a long time and was one of their greatest ever players and has a genuine affection for the club?

 

I know a few pro sportsmen and they used to be supporters of certain swiss sides. but when they became older and older they basically stopped supporting them. they weren't supporters anymore, but professionals.

although I don't want to compare swiss rivalries to Celtic v Huns, no way!

if somebody joins the huns and says he's a celtic supporter, I wouldn't believe it. he may have sympathies for celtic, but nothing more.

being a supporter of a club is like being in love with a woman. feelings like love, admiration and pride are always present - for your biggest rival it's the opposite.

if somebody picks the huns because of money he's nothing but a prostitute. you need money in your life, clearly, but if you are ab le to play for the huns you are able to play for a lot of other teams too and you still would earn way more than an average hardworking man in scotland or elsewhere. a true supporter doesn't pick money over love and pride, only hoes do.
