I don't like being negative and I'm extremely pleased we are Champions.

That draw today ensured that our points total will not finish higher than the Tony Mowbray season.

You have to go back to 1999/2000 to find a worse points total, when we played 36 games rather 38.

I just don't like the way we have done it this season. I think we are lucky to be in a league where every one of the 11 other teams can beat each other. I feel we miss Rangers, in the way of competition to keep us on our toes.

Next season I want us to completely tear this league a new one, win over 30 games. It is what we should be doing to be fair.

We are stumbling over the finishing line. I'm not happy with our domestic efforts this season at all. The fact we have won the league by double figures hides the fact we have been poor on too many occasions.

Hard to motivate yourself to get tore in every game to win the lot though when you dont need to. Players will naturally down tools when a goal or two up to conserve energy or take it easy in some games to avoid injury for other more important ones which will lead to a lot of slip ups.

The most important thing is that the team/squad get better which they have so that we are still capable of competing in Europe.

When your in Europe and wanting Cups too then League games will obviously be cast aside as players just dont play to there maximum and have their eye on the other games.

No hunger in team, league race was over weeks ago, players need to remember supporters are paying their wages.

If and when currant buns return, it won't be such a cakewalk, beware of becoming too complacent:icon_mrgreen:

its obvious lack of a serious rival for the league has took the edge of most games but however weve still won the league, i really think we should be blooding our youngsters in more and start having faith in the academy a bit more .

    Its not good enough.

If we hadnt done so well in Europe this season fans would have so much to say about it.

A lot of people may disagree with me here but i think a huge part of the problem this season is Rangers no longer existing. Normally at the weekends we would be sitting at games thinking - Rangers have gone nine points clear today so we NEED to win. That also put pressure on the players to go out there and make sure they won the games. Players have known all season they will have no real competition when it comes to winning the league. And thats true but its no excuse for slacking off. Especially when the fans are paying a lot of money to see the team.

As i said we have had a fantastic season in Europe which we have all thoroughly enjoyed but for me the players should have gone out this season and tried to win the league with as many points as possible. Records could have easily been broken.

We achieved the goal that was set-out at the start of the season, I understand people aren`t happy with the manner. However I think its to "idealistic" to say we should be winning the league unbeaten(for example being in 4 comps makes it hard for teams to be consistent week in week out).

A Semi-final, Cup Final,League Title and last 16 of Champions League is a fine season.

The same happened with the Old Club in the 90s, they were winning the League by 10/12/15 points ahead of teams like Aberdeen and Motherwell, slipping up in a 10/12/15 times a season. Even though it was a Hun team of Internationals and experience worth about £15/20/30million playing against teams made up of nobodies on the cheap.

When the huns won 9 in a row, Celtic only finished 2nd 2 times out the 9 and yet the highest amount of points they won the League with was 15, in all other season apart from that one they won it with 9 points or less.

The season they won it by 15 wasnt even because they were that good either they only won 20 of their 36 games, was just that Motherwell slipped up in 22 of their 36 games.

In 1994 the huns won the League and only won half of their games lol

Having to stomach the 90`s, makes me even more grateful for every competition we win.

The points tally dosen't bother me tbh, the main objective is always to secure the title, if we can win the SC then i would consider a domestic double and the last 16 of the CL to be a very sucessful season.

I'm not expecting us to go undefeated, but we should not be dropping points on 14 different occassions. If that happened in almost any other league in the world then that team would not win the league.

We shouldnt be if it was harmful to our objectives but its not, its irrelevent really. Would it really have mattered if we won today? the answer is no, wouldnt have mattered at all. Sad state of affairs really.

The only way we'd really win more games is if next season a team was winning on a par with us, youd need a team to come out and win 11/12 of their first 15 games so that we'd be wanting to overhaul them or keep ahead of them but in reality nobody is going to do that.

We MUST never allow that to happen again, when we won 9 in a row it was an honest achievement with mostly homegrown and relatively inexpensive players, unlike the massive spending spree of the Evil 'Departed' One:icon_mrgreen::celt_2::shamrock:

But that makes it sound like you don't care if we lose or draw?

Do you think Man United, Bayern Munich and Juventus are going out into games thinking they don't care what happens?

We are the best football team in Scotland and we should be winning every domestic game we go into.

They show is over, the League was won before it begun.

Its only human nature to do just enough and thats all we have to do in the League now.

If we had to win more games we'd have won them, we'd have concentrated more, we'd have played the strongest team more, we wouldnt have * about with formations as much but we never had to so we did * about. Theres nothing that can really be done when you think about it, how can the players force themselves to give 100% and possibly risk injury and jeopardise more important Cup and European games just for fun.

There is a huge Summer ahead for the board. We will see what their true intentions are. Do they try sell Wanyama, Hooper and Forster for big bucks and get in cheap replacements because they know the league is ours. Or do they try and keep and main players and bring in more talent to go further in Europe. We will see.

I think it is just a natural outcome of having zero competition in a league. It is true in any sport really. When you know you can win almost 100% by playing at half pace every week, people are going to do it. I think we will need to get used to it to be honest

    Aye.

How many people on here could honestly say they go to work every day and give 100%? if there was one they'd be a liar unless they were a boxer or something. I could honestly say ive never gave 100% at anything really not even in school or work or at learning to drive or nothing, im too easily distracted and dont concentrate much.
