I thought Riseth wasn't all that bad. I mean he halved Rod Wallace and ran straight of the field without waiting to see his red card.

Agree with that Riseth was decent. Although I remeber him making a tremendous gaff at St Jhonston when he hooked the ball across the box from his own byline perfectly for the saints frontman to bullet a header in to the net. FFS that was a comedy moment. Overall though Vidar did a decent job.

Paul Byrne should be on that list. He scored a fantastic goal againstthe huns on the volley but apart from that he was mince.

Byrne was a trier but ultimatley not good enough and was never a regular starter. Riseth was a usefull player who played regulary and very rareley let the side down. Not the best player in the world no doubt but he contributed signifcantly when he was at the club. In comparison to someone like Annoni he was a fans favourite but also not good enough and didnt contribute half as much as Vidar.

cheers mate:50:, only scored 4 goals but 2 against the gers, not bad. what was liam brady thinking signing a former arsenal reserve who was playing irish league football. sometimes i forget just how bad the early 90's were, half empty/built stadium and pish players who couldn't make it down south, thank * for tommy burns:celt_2:

yet another example of how being a great player doesn't make you a great manager, he was gash but still a legend, superb footballer

Pat was top scorer in 93/94 with 14 goals in all competitions. Shows how * we were, but surely exempts him from this thread?

    I'd go with...

    -------------------G.Marshall----------------------

    Virgo----------Scheidt--------Gillespie----------Gray

    Slater--------Hayes---------Biggins-------McLaughlin

    ---------------Miller--------Cascarino--------------

Not all in their proper positions, but all * nonetheless.
