I dont think we will in all honesty. I think Hartley and Donati will provide a more disciplined centre midfield which will be to our advantage.
It would have been nice to have Browns energy on the bench right enough to bring on later.

Browns energy is unbelievable so we will miss him and his bursting runs through midfield, but in saying that at the moment Robson is on form and also has alot of energy with that never give up attitude, so why not play him in Browns postion just behind McDonald.

He'll be sorely missed for me.

Donati is too in and out of the game and Hartley will basically just do the 'Lennon thing' and protect the back 4.

Id like to see Robson given a chance as we need to win the game, but I doubt it. I suspect he might put Sno in the middle and put Hartley at right back.

    We shall see

    Time will tell.

donati does not impress me at all but i cant see barry robson getting his first start against barcelona, so i guess donati will start. evander sno is absolute *, i had high hopes for him but he cant play. when he came on in the CIS cup game against hearts it was one of the worst performances i've seen from anyone in a hoops jersey, even worse than harry the accountant bratbakk

I'll be kacking myself if Sno is in from the start. I can see Robson getting a shout.

If he plays Sno i'll be extremely dissapointed. Robson has settled in perfectly and provides a goal threat as well as excellent passing/delivery. I reckon Hartley right back, Donati and Robson in the middle and the last 20 mins he gave Robson in the centre were to have a wee look at how he'd do.

If your gonna disagree then at least give a reason for it:31:
Check him out. He is far more experienced and suited than Hartley at playing both full back positions.:50:

We will miss in the later stages of the match i think when tiredness begins to hit some players and then the endless running from him could get us a goal on the break then.
But with dontai beginging to perform and hopefully he can do it onthe big stage and with hartley covering we can see him give another great performance like agaisnt hearts

I agree Brown has his plus points but he has just as many negatives.
If we were to get a strict referee then Browns over keen style:84: could be a hinderence rather than a help.

Ive noticed three bad faults that Brown constantly is guilty off when he's put under pressure.

    (1) Tries to hard and regularly kicks the ball way to far ahead of himself when running with it thus regularly losing possesion. Because of this trait he often he lunges into a silly tackle when he realises he's over run the ball.

    (2) Gets himself involved in on field vendettas affecting his concentration.

    (3) When he loses concentration and doesnt look up when running with the ball, misses obvious passes and often runs himself into
the corners then being crowded out.

I rate the lad as having great potential but for some reason he escapes any vitreol spouted by our fans for errors made, wheras Donati, Hartley or any of our other midfielders have to take pelters.

Robson has played RM,LM,CM,LB and RB in his career. I am not to sure how good he is at RB but he doesent look out of place playing RM. He would be a better option than Hartley for RB and to throw Caddis in against such powerful oposition could ruin the boy if he was to have a mare. I also think it would be unfair to put so much presure on a young lads shoulders.

So if Caldwell stay at CB then for me Robson would be the best option for RB. Although I think Caddis will get the shout.

As for Brown being missing if this question was asked 3 weeks ago I would have said no problem he wont be missed. But he has performed to a much higher level in recent weeks and looks much better with Hartley playing beside him.So if we sick to a 4-4-2 formation then yes I think we will miss him, however I have a sneaky suspicion we will play 4-5-1 and the extra man in midfield will make up for his abcence and inturn offer the defence more protection.

brown will be a huge miss for me . he is good at sticking to pleyers, winding therm up, chasing them down closin them down, and snapping someone if needs be. this is what you need against ronaldhino and co, you cant let them play.
