Why Stokes MUST be paired With Hooper On Sunday

20 Goals a piece and the best duo in the league by some distance, i would take any sort of win come the game but i think it would be a crushing blow for stokes to be left out.

Will be disappointed in Lenny if he drops him.at the end of the day he was a big part of the comeback at killie that rescued Lennys job.the frustrating thing about it is that Lenny has stuck by worse players like when he repeatedly picked the likes of sammy and maj when they were playing rank rotten

 

Wouldn't surprise me if he benched him and picked Samaras ahead of him. * it.

 

No question for me Stokes and Hooper should start every single game together up front, only time I would rather see Sammy over any of them is in a tough European away game where we need to go 451.

I think Sammy's been reverting to his old ways a bit recently on the left, not been as good as he was at the peak of his form a few months ago, but Commons has been poor this season, Paddy, McGeouch and Ibrahim haven't hadn't enough game time - so I suppose Sammy at left mid is our only real option.

If Izzy was fully fit i'd have him LB and Ledley at Left Mid.

Stokes defo should be a starter though, Lenny seems to like him for cup games and on big pitches, he seems to leave him out of the more tougher physical games, so I think we'll see Stokesy play in this one

40 goal duo up front is a no brainer for him. Lenny is as smart as they come.

Easy going to be them with Sammy and Forrest on the wings. But as for everyone else, even though I know a few players that will deffo start, can't be sure where they will be lining up.

 

Absolutely. We've no reason at all to go more defensive against Killie, and even if we did I'd probably go with Stokes over Hooper, simply because I feel he has more to his all round game.
Stokes and Hooper's partnership is amazing. They have a near telepathic understanding, they link up well, they can also both link up with runners from midfield, and they are the two best finishers in the country. I think they're the best pairing we've had since Henrik and Sutton.

 

Stokes must start up front with Hooper with Sammy n Forrest out wide we will cause Killie lots of problems with our attack....

Stokes is my favourite player, behind Super Joe Ledley.

 

Think he should and will. Listening to Lenny's press conference suggests he is very much in his thoughts for a starting spot.

 

If anyone was to be benched it'd be Hooper for me not Stokes, don't understand why it's always him even when Hooper is having an obvious dip in form.
