Okay light banter here but why hoopy the hound for a mascot and whats the story behind it ?
My normal source of info comes from wikipedia but this is all it says on it ,

"Hoopy the Huddle Hound is the mascot for Celtic F.C. He is a large dog wearing a strip and cap. Hoopy gained notoriety in 2000 when it was discovered that one of the actors inside the Hoopy suit was a thief, this only being noticed when several items went missing from Celtic Park"

anyone know when and how did our club mascot be a dog ?
and are we the only team with an ex con for a mascot ?:icon_mrgreen:

btw im not slagging it off because hoopy is class but.... Why a dog :97:
