We needed a left back who was cheap.

He is a liability, looks like a rabbit in the head lights at the minute

Am excited to hear that we're looking at that Ivory Coast left back Siaka Tiene because Mulgrew looks like a big girl's blouse out there.

No idea why we signed him. He'd found his level at Aberdeen. As unbelievable as it sounds, Lenny has managed to find a left back far worse than Naylor, Fox and Braafheid. He'll never be good enough.

I'd be happy to have Mulgrew as a back-up to Lee Wallace. I do not want to see Mulgrew being our first choice left-back.

we sold the guy to wolves, he couldnt cut it there, went to aberdeen and was an average player in a relatively poor team. Shouldnt be allowed near a jersey and is not the answer at left back.

Right fair enough he is * defensively, if we can get another decent LB in, i will be happy if hes still part of the squad.

He's not settled yet. Give the guy a chance. I don't think he'll be a first pick for us, but i reckon he can do a job as a squad player.

He has a very good left foot on him. He will also be handy for when we have alot of games in quick succession to give hopefully our new first choice left back if we sign one a rest. As back up he is a smart peice of business, i stress though as back up!

He's the only senior recognised left back at the club at the minute. We needed two left backs after being left with none so as a back-up player it was decent business on a free but its fairly obvious we'll sign another left back as a first pick. Mulgrew does have a lovely left foot but defensively we need a massive improvement to the never ending problem position

Hes also a home grown player, which you need a certain amount of for european competitions.

If he can do it for aberdeen in the spl he can do it for us, he hasn't had the best of pre-seasons thats for sure but i think he'll come good, fingers crossed.
