I'm not doubting Bangura will be good but is he really what we needed? We needed a striker that bullys defenders with his physicality, that wins balls in the air, that isn't afraig to put his head where it hurts. So why Bangura?

I don't know... Bangura had the ball on the wing today, and tried to go past Goian...fail.:38: If he can't use his speed or dribbling to get past a rather slow CB, that is worrying.

He hasnt had anytime to show what he can do cause he keeps persisting with that useless * sammy would rather bangura on for a full game to see what he can do!! (remember larssons time here) Rather than samaras the useless *!!

I want to see the guy playing a full 90 mins and then i can properly judge him.

I hate to be Mr Negative man but I've seen Bangura now against rangers and Motherwell and I know its very early to make a judgement on him but he looks a bit clumsy on the ball and his first touch isnt great. I hope im wrong about him but I have a bad feeling that this guy is not going to be the answer......we'll see.

Would the transfer fee for this guy not have been better used if it went towards wages for Shay Given?

As I said, I'm not judging Bangura just now, I won't until he has had a few games, it just bewilders me why £2.2m was spent on a small striker who isn't good in the air (didn't score any headed goals last season for AIK) when we really needed someone like Sutton.

Seeing as Samaras will always (it seems) get to play in the big games in the hole, and we will always (it seems) play 1 up front, Bangura isnt going to get much of a chance to prove himself.

    Just cant get enough
Not had much time but it doesnt say much if sammy gets in ahead of him.
3 sub appearances, absolutely zero impact.
Better idea after he's played 90 mins but what is lenny waiting on?

Aye mate i know what your saying, a Sutton type of player is really what we needed, hopefully Bangura can do a job for us.

I don't think we have seen enough of Bangura to say about him yet, but I agree we did need someone like Sutton. I remember watching him even in the Legends game, using his body strength to back into the defenders and then a quick turn and strike, if im right in remembering he was unlucky and hit the post but that is what we need.

Get Kim Shin-Wook bought, and he'll sort our aerial woes.

Gerard butler looks a better striker than him, hasn't had as many minutes as Gerard though.

Because a Sutton would cost about £10m
