Couldn't bear to hear Larsson subjected to some of the criticism Lenny has got on here...and that's assuming he (like Lennon) does a good job. If he fails...doesn't bear thinking about.

I get your point. But i think even i could pick a team to squeeze past Cliftonville and Karagandy and then get gubbed in the group stages.

How ironic, larsson could win 7titles to do 10 in a row

I think its a perfect time for Henrik. The league is a gimme and anything else in his first season is a bonus.

Possibly this has been engineered a bit , board meeting saying no budget for the type lenny wants and if good offers arrive we cant reject them , fans not going to games , a feeling of staleness creeping in and thoughts moving to a freshening up to encourage enthusiasm in the support again , this has been known for a few weeks now at boardroom imo .

thats what we have been waiting on since lennon took over ,if larsson gets the job its a cynical abuse of henriks status here and as mentioned way earlyier on in the thread lawell and co should get to *

Would have to be King of Kings, Henrik Larsson.

    I'm not picky.
My heart would be loving it if it were to be Larsson, but my head is saying no, not ready - yet. Hopefully the board will go with their heads as well. Then again, will they just go with the emotional option?

See tbh when Larsson was first tipped I was sceptical, after hearing some of the other names with the likes of Coyle..I'd be over the * moon with Larsson now haha.

We don't need a Manager to win the SPFL, probably anyone on this forum could succeed at that. We need a Manager to take us to the next level..success in Europe but on the annual shoestring budget. Henrik's managerial track record is not good - in fact winning 3 games out of 11 is pretty awful - and if he gets the job it will only be because he is a Legend.
The more I think about this it seems to me too much of a coincidence that within 2 weeks of Johan leaving without being sacked, Lenny does the same. I think something has gone down at Parkhead that Mjallby and Lennon wouldn't accept and have voted with their feet. I think there is unrest behind the scenes, so whoever The Board select, I just hope he is strong in character, ambitious and can take the fans with him into Europe.
