Honestly I have no idea.. There are so many rumours going around. And so many people in the media saying they've been approached by Celtic... I've just given up speculating and waiting to see who its really going to be.

I hope it is Bellamy but i just cannot see him finding us attractive. He may have fallen out with his manager but i think anouther EPL team would meet his needs more than us, unfortunatley.

 

Sol Campbell

 

I think bellers will be the 1st signing. He finds is attractive because; he's a Celtic fan, he knows the fans adore him, he's good mates with the manager and maybe he feels he has a bit of unfinished business up here.

Read an interview with him last month were he said he wouldn't play for another premiership club cause he was fed up playing there n moving his family around England so often. It was before the playoffs n he was hinting at playing for Cardiff but I'd like to think he'd choose us over Cardiff despite his roots

 

Probably some kid from Albion Rovers or something else really cheap.

bellamy will never come back to celtic. hes on several thousand a week more than we can afford. also, if he doesnt want to move down in england, why would he want to move all the way up to scotland? bellamy wont come.

 

Probably a bosman like Mulgrew or a loanee.

I'm not optimistic about the coming season...yet.

I'm sorry to say that I'm going to need some serious convincing from the Board & the manager this season - their "roadshows" were totally pathetic imo, I see nothing that suggests we'll get anyone of note anytime soon.

Although I'd love to be quoted on this in a few months & have to eat humble pie.

 

Mulgrew, sometime on Monday. Expect Celtic to announce another signing at the same time to avoid the inevitable mud-slinging.

Well i think it all comes down to if McGeady goes, if he doesn't its freebies and loan signings aka Ledley(hopefully) Campbell(again hopefully) Mulgrew(ohh well) etc..., if McGeady goes then i think we will bring in a good player of the Keane ilk although probs not him.
We cannot afford to buy keane or bellamy or even afford their wages unless we get at least 10 mill for McGeady. Thats reality.

 

We won't be signing Bellamy - it'll probably be Mulgrew and Campbell.

And then, I fear, a shower of other journeyman all-british players that Lenny thinks will "go to war" for the team. Football talent not required.

I really, really, really hope I'm wrong.
