Never in a million years was he a "massive" star for us :56::56::56:

In fact, he's probably one of the biggest dumplings to ever pull on a Celtic jersey.

Liam Brady signed him for £1.1m in the dark days of the 90's - fat * scored 4 goals in 30 games, then was shipped off the Chelsea in a swap deal for Tom Boyd.

Actually Millwall, Chelsea, Celtic and Ireland. Something in there doesn't add up. * didn't even have Irish heritage.

At some point he held the record for most games played for Ireland, IIRC? I also remember it coming out after retiring that he admitted to never actually had any right to represent Ireland in the first place.

But, wow, for us did he suck. And considering who some of his teammates were, that is saying something.

Yep. There was nothing Irish about him as he was adopted and therefore didn’t qualify.

For a league that nobody supposedly cares about we can't seem to go 5 minutes these days without some talentless gobshite from England having a go at us, clearly the success and attention we're getting must really * them off.

Yes funny that. Robbie Savage can't wait to bump his gums about Celtic and how poor our league is.

I mind him signing when i was a kid , big lump a wood and seen milk turn quicker.

He was utter pish so to contradict himself by doing nothing uo here himself shows the ignorance of the statement he made, must need some publicity.

Yes.. No-mark gobshite of the first order... Had an opinion of himself way way higher than any Celtic supporter had.

Them were the days though! Shows the impact of the EPL , Abramovich and sky tv etc..

Now I wonder if Mr Conti would consider swapping Nir Bitton for Eden Hazzard ?

Always thought Savage was bitter that MON never tried to bring him from Leicester when he moved up here, bringing Lennon instead.
