Look, im just gonna come out and say this - i Bought a Celtic top (int away) from jjb when it first came out (july i think) but only because they do the name & number for £10 (if you purchase your top from them)

I wasnt sure who i wanted on the back, but knew for sure that i wanted my money's worth so the guy at the shop said if i keep my reciept i can get it when i decide, so as soon as jvoh signed i got that on the back of my shirt for £10 (thats 20 letters and 2 numbers)

I know it'd be better to buy from celtic but sometimes to me they are robbin * and if they were to do the same deal as jjb, i'm sure no-one would ever look anywhere else. I also bought the black & green away top from soccer sports, where i got it for £32 - if they can sell it at that price why cant celtic?

I have got my tops this year from celtic! I actually got a free towel with my international away top so I cant complain. Surely you could avoid buying a celtic tops out of jjb?

i could yea, i aint skint or that but if i was to just go throwing my money away on things that i could save something on then i probably would be, sooner rather than later.

how much would you say it'd cost for that top with voh on the back from the celtic top? just say £50 - i just saved myself a tenner, which probably went towards a pizza hut lol

***I probably wouldnt wear a rucksack if u paid me m8

in Cee & Jays they're like £39.99. I usually get mine off the internet cheaper. But i suppose it is celtic and as long as your happy then nothing else matters:87:
My mate got a JVOF on the back of her new away strip and she said it cost over £100... Not sure if i believe her but i suppose with all those letters and the numbers, it could. I dunno though. It probably depends where she got it from.

I'd rather buy direct from the club, even if it's a bit more expensive. Remember that JJB are a much bigger operation than celtic's merchandising, so they can offer cheaper deals.

You're supporting the club by buying from celtic shops.

i only done it cos it was cheaper (i wouldnt buy nothing else) and i'm sure celtic wouldnt give them the celtic tops if they werent getting enough money from it and didnt want you to go there.

Well I live in Chicago now so it used to be a bit more difficult to buy Celtic gear here. But as much as I hate Nike as a company Celtic gear is now available in pretty much any soccer store I have been in over the last couple of years here. When our gear was made by Umbro their US distribution sucked.
So I used to buy at the inflated prices from the online Celtic store. The prices are inflated yes but holy * do they add on the p&p charges. I wasn't over joyed about paying such high costs for my celtic gear but o well I was buying direct from the club so I was supporting the club. Unfortunately I cannot say anything positive about the service I got from the online Celtic store. Every single order I placed was botched. Either the wrong item, the wrong size, forgot an item etc. Once they even just flat out lost my order and even said they had lost the order and offered nothing to make up for it other saying yep we lost your order. In short my dealings with the Celtic online store were a nightmare so now I just don't buy from them any more. I only buy something I can get my hands on directly here in the US. As much as I would love to keep buying direct there is only so much crap I was prepared to put up with. O and before you ask yes I wrote a number of letters to Celtic to detail my problems and complain and never heard a word back.

bhoycott jbb, it sickens me to think that a 20bob note i could potentially pay for a strip with could end up as part of barry fergahuns wages. :38::38::38:

my thoughts actually i rather lick * off a thistle than give any of my hard earned cash to a company that funds rangers, everyone should refuse to spend a single penny with jjb.Sometimes principle is more important than paying the extra, just imagine all the orcs at JJB laughing at tims buying stuff from them when the money goes to ibrox

i buy everything direct from the club, i prefer my money going direct although my new away top was a gift so am not sure where it was purchased. would agree with you guys on the prices though, dont mind paying a little extra for the top..but would be nice if they could match jjb's offer on the names and numbers(£10).
