Been thinking about starting a thread about this for a few weeks but after today there’s no doubt that we’re going to win it, so as it stands could we win it against the Huns?

They'd need to collapse massively for us to win it v them

We need 7 more wins so that would be game 34 but as one of our next 7 games is against them then 6 wins would be enough so earliest would be home to Killie on April 12th, last game before the split.

You'll need to revise this again once Kilmarnock pump them on Wednesday

I'd be astonished if they don't drop points again before we play them.

Gonna be a tough game for us on Tuesday as well.

Yeah but even after we play them there would still be 24pts to play for so we'd need to be 22pts clear going into it.

They'd need to lose all 3 games before then which granted isn't outwith their capabilities but very unlikely.

Just had a look and didn’t realise the Huns game was coming up so soon, only 2 league games before then so no chance. Noticed it’s on the 16th though, day before St Patrick’s day, tremendous. :):ireland:

Celtic need a maximum of 7 wins. That is assuming Sevco win every single game, which is unlikely.

In answer to @Cumbernauld Bhoy67 , if Celtic were to win the next 4 games straight and Sevco lost all of their next 4 games, that would be a 25 point gap with 7 games in hand.

If that scenario were to happen, however unlikely, it would be against Hearts at the end of March.

13 points so we'd need something like 4 defeats and a draw to lose outright, or 2 draws and 3 defeats to take it to goal difference, where they'd need a 32 goal swing to get in front... Given there's only 11 games left and we'd be looking at losing more points now than the entire season so far it's beyond doubt we've won, bar the mathematics...

As others said, if we take 100% of the points, including them obviously, we'd go to we could win with 5 games to go at worst - we'd win in the last game before the split, which is home to Killie on Apr 12th.

Home to Killie isn't it? If we beat them we're 16 in front, so when there's only 5 games left... That'd mean we'd win at home to Killie... Or has my brain failed me? :56:

Edit: sorry, completely misread what you said! You gave first opportunity, I was talking last! :60:

I can't believe they bottled it again. :56:

And they don't have the excuse of playing away after a midweek game away to one of the best teams in Europe.
