What other say about Celtic that wind you up

It's the small things that really * me off like people branding all Celtic fans bigots, anything bad about Lenny i just see red and get all defensive.

So what are the things that other people say about Celtic that wind you up?

 

When they call us part of the old firm.

 

Our players are too good for us because we don't play in the English * Premier League.

 

When you're talking to a United fan and you say something like Ferdinand is *. They're answer everytime is "You cant say anything, you're and Celtic fan"

 

We were "lucky"

 

Hate how the english meja talk celtic down, and compare us with a defunct club. Same can be said of jurnos up here.

 

When morons say that we're a "different club" and were "liquidated" back in 1994

How a lot of English fans (and even managers) say that we're only good cos we play in the SPL. Aye, tell that to the likes of Anderlecht, Juventus, AC Milan, Barcelona, Lyon, Stuttgart, Bayern Munich, Mank Ushited

When people lump us in with that manky dead club and even now the hundead club when whatever they do has got NOTHING to do with us.

 

The BJK pish is so vile and pathetic.

Argued till I was blue in the face once with these English lads a few years ago that if we were in the prem we'd get relegated as our squad at the time wasnt strong enough, I pointed out that by playing in the epl we would have 10 times the resources and money than we do currently. And as such we wouldn't have that same squad and in time we'd be a top 6 team.

Only to be met with " yea but your squad isn't good enough youd be relegated. Erm no we wouldnt have the same squad as we would have a * ton more money. This debate went in circles for about an hour haha

 

The arrogance of followers of Premiership and some championship teams who think that we aren't good enough for their first division etc, would love a merging of our league cup and England's, so we could put some of these diddy teams in there place but traditionalists would choke on their earl gray at that idea!

Also took a recent dislike to the nickname 'the celts'. Think it was they scarfs going about at the Barcelona match at one side it was 'The Celts' and Barca had there full team name printed, ffs it's Celtic

 

Usually arguing with them is like arguing with a hun - it's just like speaking to a brick wall and with most of them it's a case of....

when people say our title last year was "tainted", and we were lucky when we won the european cup, we beat everyone we came up against, including the french champions 6-2!

 

Absolutely nothing anybody else says about Celtic can annoy me. So many people just recite crap they have picked up without ever actually checking the history or are simply pig ignorant. I haven't got the time to correct them (let alone teach the majority to be decent people).
As for the Newco/Huns, nothing they say annoys me either, not even their bigoted ways. I just smile and honestly pity them whenever I come into contact with one.
I'm truly lucky to be a Celtic supporter and I have had so much joy supporting the team since my childhood up until now and there has been no better time than now to be a Celtic fan.

1. "The way you won the Barcelona match was horrible, you played so defensively." Well, yeah if you were going against one of the best teams in the world then you'd probably be playing a lot of defense to. Also we played so defensively we scored more than them :icon_mrgreen:

2. Pretty much 99.9% of the stuff uneducated EPL, La Liga, Serie A fans on that talk about us like we're some brand new team that "should just be happy to be going against Barcelona or whatever. I swear we have more of a history than like half of the teams in the premier league :smiley-laughing002:

 

Or the "special relationship" with Barcelona which is bullshit if the truth be told

had to watch the game on wednesday on Al Jazeera sports the other night, pundits were Souness, Venables and Hoddle. Al of them had written us off predicting 2-1, 3-0 and 3-1. To be fair Souness did say he wanted Celtic to do well for Scottish football. Was dying to see the post match analysis to watch Venables and Hoddle eat there words but the b*st*rd that owns the appartment block where I stay has the main decoder and switched it to Arabic at half time!! So after the game I had the Arab pundits!
