Emlyn Hughes, Gary Mackay, Mickey Weir, Paul Kane, John Robertson, Mo Johnston, Craig Levein, Oleg Kuznetzov, used to go to school with Craig Dargo and I saw Frank McGarvey in Bairds after a game last season.

It's all been footballers actually........that's kinda sad. Don't suppose there's much chance of me seeing Lacey Turner or Cheryl Cole living up here though. :87:

I stood about 1 foot away from Pope Benedict in Rome.
Seen Eminem from about 15 feet, if that counts.

didnt meet him face to face but ..

my uncle used to go to school with martin o neil at st columbs college here in Derry. He was best pals with him and they kept in contact over the years. Six or seven years ago MON brought his celtic team to derry to help fund the club from going into administration .. and i got a call from my uncle the afternoon before the game ... saying he was sitting beside martin , who then passed the phone over to him and i musta spoke to MON for about a minute or so. He just asked who my fav celtic player was and how im getin on and all that. Only lasted a minute but an unbelievable experience for me personally. He appears to be a guy that has a lot of time for ppl.

Won a competition to see scotland in world cup in spain that was run by the celtic supporters association in 1982 and was taken into parkhead on a match day and was sitting watching the players chatting to each other b4 game. Seen a few minor celebs in glasgow, Jackie Bird, ford kiernan Tommy sheridan and his mrs (shes Hot!) but my one time favourite and I still pinch myself was Kenny Dalglish who I idolised as a kid . I was working one sunday morning on a boat up in Prosser Marine in Blochairn in glasgow when a guy shouted up to me asking where the entrance was, I turned round to answer him and it was THE KING! and his wife Marina! I nearly fell off the f****g boat! I got talking to him and his wife and they were really nice, gotta photo and autograph n stuff and as I was leaving Prossers he came running out and shouted after me and took a business card off me! Well chuffed lol
