The way Hooper's been playing this season I don't think he'll make much difference. We desperately need a new striker in. Samaras coming in and punting high balls up to him to flick on to nobody do not work.

Happy enough, we knew it was gonna be a tough game, Sion didn't produce much threat and I expect us to nick 1 away from home.

Plus they played an illegal player so hopefully they get kicked out anyway

If we go through it'll be via a score-draw or Sion getting bumped out of the competition. I just don't see us winning in Toblerone-land! Certainly not if Lenny's bottle crashes even further and he goes 4-5-0!

Not a good result at all, but by no means over. I would hope we can get a 1-1 draw or better over in Switzerland. What was the crowd tonight?

Showed we were the better team but they will have more confidence at home

    needed some goals

cha and ki were a different class, big sammy won everything and were unlucky not to utilise his tap ons

    were lacking in a finish

what was up with kevin wilson is he injured?

Although it was a frustrating night, the main positive is we didn't concede. 1 goal over there may be enough.

Lennon played a useless formation and paid them far, far too much respect. They were nervous and we just let them find their confidence by sitting off. Very poor display.

If I were writing the match report tonight that would pretty much be my headline. You been spying on me or something, lol. :97:
