Over and above that Jeff has shown commitment to the cause, GT is a goner and should now be phased out, good servant or not.

At LB, inverted at times- he will give us so much pace and physicality , which will make us a better unit overall.
Shrewd signing , make it permanent in the summer. Would imagine saudi might be an option for him though , hopefully not.

I'd give him a 2 year deal in the summer if he wants it

Start against Bayern surely. He's got the physicality, experience, power and pace.

With Schlupp starting there's also the added bonus of him having trained against Olise for years at Palace, should surely be able to deal with him better than Taylor

Was genuinely thinking this right through the game today, he won’t make a mug of Schlupp.

This, while also developing Matthew Anderson.
Would give us both Anderson and Schlupp as cover for KT. Anderson could play home games v bottom 6 teams and Schlupp would be there for bigger games if Tierney is out.

Simply going with Anderson as Tierney's back up would be risky with KTs injury record. And this would allow us to have Schlupp cover in midfield too

Experienced his 1st champions league night, he's rill got derby game, title party and hopefully a cup win to go. Hopefully experiencing all that should be enough to persuade him to sign up for another year at least

Along with the impressive performance, he's also a goal threat.

Looks like a no-brainer that we should try to get him on a permanent deal. Cover for KT, midfield and even on the wing. Seems like the perfect squad player.

    He's already looking an upgrade.

He can play utility so defo for me, along with the returning king KT.

Really want us to sign him but has temporary move written all over it. He will go somewhere that he will get £60k plus per week.

Highly doubt it mate. He wasn’t getting a game for Palace and he’ll be 33 next season. We’re a great move for him right now and he’ll stay if we offer him a decent deal.

Few rusty touches aside, I really like him..

His recovery pace is excellent. That one he got back for a ball he had no right in winning, and got a free kick for as he headed it away....is something I've been dying to see from a left back for ages..

Some strike on him. Good in the air. Strong as *. Really quick. Can overlap or go inside as we seen a fair bit today. The odd wonder cross..

I was * off at this signing due to our failure as a whole to get more quality in in other positions. Looks a no brainer for me as a capable backup to KT, if it can be done..

Was just gonna post about that recovery challenge he put in, was back like a rocket and won a ball that looked he had no chance of.

He’s looked well off the pace but you can see his quality too. Think he’s going to end up looking like a shrewd signing.

Played champions league for Leicester, it’s still a big carrot and it’s not to be underestimated playing at that level, especially as he’s coming to the backend of his career.

No brainer to play Schlupp in front of Taylor.

Taylor has informed the club he's checked out. He'll be leaving for nothing so theres no need to put him in a shop window.
He's leaving the club with pockets bulging from wages no other club wouldve give him, and winner medals galore around his neck, so im sorry, we owe him nothing.

Hes a downgrade in every way to Schlupp, particularly, as @McChiellini.. said, his recovery pace.

Do our best to sign Schlupp, have him play as back up to KT.
If we're being brutally honest, he wont struggle for game time with KT's injury history, and our need for him to fill in the midfield.

His wages wont be a stumbling block either if we're smart. Give him a tidy 25k a week, top it off with a 2m signing on fee. Done.
