Looking forward to see him play.

 

He'll definitely get game time v Hearts with both Taylor and Johnston nursing niggles..

 

Needs minutes against hearts. Would like to see him start and get a proper look at him before the champions league

 

Can he play RB? Would be tempted to start him there against Hearts if he can.

 

Played a belter there against Real Madrid in pre-season, that's when I first saw him.

 

But aye, start him at RB next week if there's any doubt over Johnston.

 

Anyone else a bit surprised/disappointed he’s not had any minutes at all yet? Granted Taylor has been playing well but still seems a bit odd. Keen to see what he has to offer. Was fully expecting him to be our LB for the CL which may still turn out to be the case but the fact he hasn’t played at all makes me wonder if he’s either unfit or carrying a knock.

 

I think the hype has died down and the reality is he's just cover for LB. That's it.

 

Yeah, have been looking forward to seeing him play. Given how attacking he is, he could even have been brought on instead of Palma yesterday just to give him a run out ans see what he's about

 

Bit of a shitshow IF that’s the case imo. Think a lot of us were slightly frustrated that we couldn’t bring in an upgrade on Taylor on a permanent basis but settled with getting someone on loan who by all accounts seems to be highly rated & who has just signed a new contract with Barca. Definitely looked like an upgrade on paper at least. I’d also be surprised if Barca or the player himself agreed that he would be joining as back-up.

 

He’ll just be settling in.

No surprise he didn’t feature against the Huns and then the match yesterday was only 1-0 until about 88 minutes. The boy is also only 20 and coming into a very different environment.

I’m sure he will get plenty of time and plenty of big moments.

 

Brendan said he needs to train and see how the full backs play same with trusty

 

Defense is much harder to just get stuck in with, especially with us lot as fans that would be all over him if he slipped up and cost us a goal. Midfield and forwards get an easier time of ot that way.

His time will come, but if him being here makes Taylor up his game then that's equally as good

 

Taylor contract situation probably doesn't help.we want to keep him and dropping him before he's signed a new deal probably isn't a good look. Not that he deserves to be dropped atm

 

Only being 1 - 0 up right until the end probably a consideration too.

 

Would expect him to start on Sunday next.
