Steve Bruce was a mainstay defender for Man United under Ferguson, over 400 games in 8 years. Never got a cap for England despite being very English old school style of defender.

Erling Halaand has 195 goals at the age of 23, more than Messi or Ronaldo at the same age… to match either for goal tally he’ll need to score over 38 a season for 15 years to match Messi and just over 35 a season for 15 years to match Ronaldo.

    That’s * insane.

There was a scooter at a Milan derby once I’m sure.

My favourite was a decapitated pig head thrown at Figo when he went to Madrid though. That’s some planning ahead anger. Beats the scooter only because you just see a pigs face poking threw the grass and its weird:56:

    EDIT: found it :56:

I found the reference to it but it was Argentina

as well as an incident in Argentina, where goalkeeper Ubaldo Fillol had projectiles including a guitar thrown at him

I went through a phase of watching videos of Argentinian Ultras at one point, it’s actually wild over there. One day I’m 100% making sure I get to a River Plate Boca game. And be done in probably cos a wee pasty Scottish guy in that crowd would be suspicious looking

59D00FDB-AE71-48F2-B58E-E40E7B01E338.jpeg Former Barcelona hero Luis Figo returned to Camp Nou as a Real Madrid player, by the time he prepared to take a late corner, emotions had risen to the point where people in the stands were throwing things at him, including plastic bottles, cans, and lighters. Someone even threw the head of a piglet and one of a rooster.

    Also …

Before the match, we put microphones by the side of the pitch. When Figo's name was read out, the decibel reading we got was equal to a jumbo jet taking off.

some of the derbies in Brazil don’t allow away fans due to the bother it causes but some fans sneak in to the home crowd, one idiot at a São Paulo game was wearing a t-shirt and home fans spotted his tattoo of the opposition, he left the terracing on a stretcher when they’d done with him, idiot deserved it

Weird football fact related to tattoos, second hand story but my mate swears by it, Scott Brown stripping down to his boxers in a toilet in a Coatbridge dancing when * kept asking him the rangers tattoo thing was real:56::56:

Even if he’s full of *, which he’s not that kinda guy to be, I’d choose to believe that because its funny as * regardless. Heard a few stories about Broony as a youngster before he was captain and wish I could have had a night out with him at that age:56:

Not like a pint at this age wouldn’t suffice anaw tbf.

Random one I like is Vidic is the only player to win the PL with a surname made of Roman numerals.

Dundee Utd have a 100% record against Barca.

Paolo Maldini captained AC Milan to a CL final win on English soil exactly 40 years after his da done the same.

nah not having the hun tattoo/Broony, urban myth.
Did you see the photo of Broony sat on a pavement wasted/pished after a night out in Edinburgh? It was when delia was boss.

I babysat for George McCluskey when he moved to dirty Leeds United and he got me tickets for their games, after one game I went out boozing with George and Peter Lorimer, by 9pm I was wasted and girlfriend had to take me home, I was 19, just down from Glasgow and I could swally, but they two drank me under the pool table and carried on when I left

Aberdeen have a 100% record against Real Madrid and were the last team that beat them in a European Final

And Dundee Utd have a 100% record vs Barca, beating them 4 times out of 4.

Aw and Motherwell won a Copa Del Rey in 1927

    What the * man.

Off the top of my head this one so might be out a bit but I’m sure Larsson only won to PotM’s in Scotland.

Mourinho never lost a home game between 2002-2011

Fernando Torres was captain of Atletico Madrid in the same team as Simeone

St Johnstone is the only team in Britain with a J in it

Also absolutely love this one, I made a thread on here about it a while back when I found out:

The man credited with being the “inventor of rap”, Gil-Scott Heron, is the son of the first ever black man to play for Celtic

Another one for you, David Beckham was born at “Whipps Cross Hospital”
