The extra time against Cliftonville comment worries me more than Watt and McGeough going out on loan.

Don't see why we would send either of them out on loan to be honest.

Hopefully just more bullshit rag talk.

Will be good for him to get a regular game and refine his talent.

I think this is an excellent idea both are very talented youngsters but they need game time if they are ever going to make the leap from prospects to finished products. I hope they go to SPL sides though

    Where shall we send them?
    Spl?
    Championship?
    What about Europe/Belgium/Scandinavia?

I think watt would be ideal for Aberdeen and mcgeough Dundee united..

I wouldnt put Watt out I think he is a valuable team member. Member he scored more goals that Sammy/lassad/miku/bangura/stokes did last season

    Leaves us threadbare up front..

If this is true and hooper going aswell means we'll have stokes and balde with sammy if need be..
Very short indeed and we probably would need another 2 strikers in..

I would have kept watt but loaned mcgeough

Lol, I wouldn't worry about that. That would be the worst result in our history :icon_mrgreen:

As for the players heading out on loan, I'm more than happy to let Dylan go but I'd certainly be keeping Watt. I'd like to see him get a 20 game run in the first 11.

Watt provides good cover for us up front, say for example, if our two main strikers get injured and we're only left with Balde to cover (Sammy is better out on the left, as we all know).

Unless Lennon plans on signing another striker as backup, then we should keep Tony here.

Probably best for them so they can get more game time...

I don't really want to see Dylan McGeouch going on loan to another club, I'd rather see him play more for us, but since it looks like opportunities for him here are going to be limited then this is the next best thing. I really hope he can get regular first team football in his natural position and develop into the player I think he can be.

Best of luck wherever you end up Dylan. Show us what you're made of.
