Thought it would be nice to show our appreciation for big Vic, especially since he's just raked in £12.5m for us and broken the Scottish transfer record, which was previously £9.5m for McGeady.

    RESPECT

In all seriousness, what a player and what a guy. Hope he goes on to achieve greater things but he may find the grass isn't always greener down south.

Ach well, gutted he's gone but it's a no brainer for that fee. One of my favourite players here in his time, a real top quality footballer.

Goodbye and good luck Victor, do us proud big man:50:

All the best. Good player hope he goes onto greater things than the saints. And we get another bonus with the sell on clause!

One of our best players this century, no doubt. Very sad to see him go but we're making a massive profit.

Good luck Victor, thanks for the memories

Gave the club some great performances especially on the European stage
Will sorely miss his physical presence but wish him all the best at Southampton and hope he goes on to bigger and better things as he's better that a mid table side

Thanks for the memories and good luck :50:

Don't know about anyone else but I'm excited to see who we buy with the funds generated from his sale!

think I would appreciate this appreciation to big vic if he had played for us for more than 2 seasons.
who we should be appreciating for all this, is peter lawell. after all he was the one who, with the help of his size 9 boots, speeded up the transfer for Celtics benefit, as it seemed to me vic and his agent were quite willing to delay any move until the last moment in the hope of securing a bigger club and a better deal. and pistol pete wasn't going to let that happen...

Seemingly it's £12 million with no sell on clause.

Feel like we could have gotten a better deal but it's still a lot of money.
