Seriously McG Corsodyl is good but ten times better is TCP. Will instantly kill all bacteria and bring down any flaring. My young lad keeps getting sore throats and I mean severe. Two days it is gone with TCP. Not the most pleasant to gargle but it works. Will leave your mouth numb for about 10 minutes. I gargle it every two days and haven’t had as much a cold in nearly a year. The smell can be strong and my Mrs and kids hate it but I don’t mind and don’t give a *. Only about £3/4 in any chemist.

I used to do this and all. Try to get to the front but it is absolutely pointless now without kids. We just sit and finish our coffee waiting until the madness dies down. Stroll on through and take our seats and your away. I actually hate getting on early and watch every * hovering over you and nearly getting somebody’s nuts in your face because they are using overhead lockers.

Airports are designed to turn you into a *. Ever single aspect of it is anxiety inducing, so when people feel there is an advantage to be gained, even when there is not, people dive in. I * hate airports!

Do you not still have to go through security and the airport? Because they are the bits I have a problem with. The actual flying and waiting around is grand!

I'm usually asleep on a flight before they finish the safety announcements! The flight is the most relaxing part of the whole experience!

Yes everyone has to go through the same security, however (airport dependant) you can get fast track through immigration.

In Bangkoks case they have a line for diplomats and first/business class passengers but you can buy this service which I done for £35ish so had a wee bird meet me off the plane and escort me down a private line and through immigration in less than 2 mins.

Compare that to the time I was there previously in October I was 1h45mins at immigration line.

I'd say that worked out a good deal!

That would be a waste of money to me, I wouldn't get anything out of it other than losing 35 quid! There isn't a way around my discomfort in airports other than not to fly! I mean, what are you going to do for two hours in an airport anyway? Once I have a book I would struggle through.

When you slow down (or stop) on a narrow road to let an oncoming car pass and the car coming behind you overtakes you.

I went to a new dentist in Glasgow about 5 years ago, and having never had a filling they told me I suddenly needed 18 and that if I didn't have it I'd start losing teeth.

Went back to my old dentist in Aberdeen, they took an x Ray and confirmed that absolutely nothing was needed. I've had 2 fillings since and nothing else.

I always avoid them unless absolutely necessary. Once you start drilling it becomes a maintenance job.

A380 as Emirates now run a380s into Glasgow.

Yes skywards member but I think it maybe had something to do with the delay at Bangkok then delayed landing at Dubai meaning I literally had to go from one gate straight to the other.
