How much do you think Nemanja Nikolić would cost?

    * knows but by the looks of his record he looks like another we've missed the boat on.

Was playing in Hungary prior to this season and his record was excellent. How could our 'excellent' scouting system not pick him out instead of Ciftci:smiley-laughing002:

  3. We should sign Kenneth Omeruo to replace Efe in the summer so we have Boyata, Omeruo, Simunovic and Sviatchenko, maybe a bit too much competition though.

Always liked that Omeruo when I watched him for Nigeria, good defender.

If Efe went we'd need a right back more than a centre half.

Jozo, Boyata, Eric, Mulgrew and any of the younger guys is more than enough.

If(when, please * when) Ambrose goes, I'd like us to bring in an experienced CB, around 29 or so, who has been about a bit. Would do us the world of good.

Preferably not as slow as Majstorovic, mind. Ron Vlaar just popped into my mind actually.

Erik will be our defensive leader IMO, has all the attributes and the pedigree.

    He does.

However he is still 24 and developing. Having an 'older head' would be good, not just for the defence but the squad in general.

Roland Juhasz is another one I've always wanted here. 32 now.

Id like Pantic that we were linked to. Then next season we have Pantic, Boyata, Simunovic fighting for a spot along side Sviatchenko.

Still really want Mocinic and Elyounoussi in the summer.

If we got Mocinic then it means our last few signings have been captains/vice captains of their clubs at a young age which is a great sign as Simunovic is the Croatian under 21 captain, Sviatchenko was the vice-captain of Midtjlannd im sure, Ajer vice-captain of Start and then Mocinic is the captain of Rijeka or hatever they are called.

Elyounoussi is just a baller. The idea of him and Roberts on the wings for the qualifiers with Rogic between them and Griffiths upfront is mouthwatering.

If we do get Mocinic how do we line up though? With the amount of midfielders we have...

If we stick with 4231 in the qualifiers then we're likely to have a 2 of:

    Brown Bitton

I don't see the point of signing another midfielder unless Bitton goes.

I reckon it would be a replacement for Johansen should he leave and itl be fighting with Brown for a place beside Bitton because I think Browns injuries will catch up more and more in the next couple of years so we will be looking at a long term replacement for him and Mocinic could be it (although if he success he will be off). However as you says we have a million midfielders to get rid of if we did sign him, hopefully the likes of Mulgrew and maybe Allan (I think he will probably assess his options in the summer) and McGregor out on loan.

We should be looking to adapt the way we line up in the qualifiers, certainly away from home.

Pack the midfield instead of just the two sitting.

I'd rather see us go with a 433.

Jason Cummings scores in a big game AGAIN. The guy is pure clutch. Dont see why he is continually ignored but IMO his ability would translate perfectly to the games in which we need players who come up big ie. CL Qualifiers. Id sign him in a heart beat in the summer.

Is he as good as Griffiths? If not, waste of money.

Getting ahead of yourself there. Way, WAY ahead of yourself.

He wouldn't even start ahead of Griffiths.

Scored every time he has faced SPL opposition - 8 matches , 10 goals. Any other strikers have as good a goals record as that in their opening 8 SPL matches?

We would be stupid to overlook him .
