seeing wgs likes to pick the team based on training performances, how about swapping our season books for the aforementioned title.
i am fed up with wgs justifying team selections on application on the training ground.
wee all must be missing amazing performances, i mean currently, i watch a team full of players who cant string 3 passes together, cant tackle a fish supper, cant create scoring oppertunities, cant head the ball, wont run past players, take an eternity to get from box to box, cant pressurise teams consertively, cant defend comfortably, generally, we are rotten.
so the games in training must be more entertaining than what i and many others are paying to watch, what a selfish wee c88t wgs is by not letting us see our team playing with pride , pasSion, flair and football.
    what is gordon doing.
i aint interested in training ground performances, i want to see it where it matters 'ie' sat or sun afternoon or morning. when we earn 3 points for playing the celtic way.
he wants a team of yes men and pals. well look at the great teams of the past and the outstanding performances we witnessed at times, sure we had bad days but more often than not if we lost it wasnt because we were abismal rather the other team desrved it . how many games this season have we thrown away due to poor team selection or poor tactics, not that tactis seem to matter now, in gordons opinion.
unless we change our shape to take on feared opposition, you know, the likes of euro giants.... queens park, flying high in the second division, somewhere around the bottom of the league.you know 2 divisions below us.
point is, how do you make a team worse in 2 years when to all intent is staffed by the same players .
how many more empty 'paid for' seats, is it going to take for the penny to drop.
we are not fair weather supporters, so why the lack of get up and watch.
because we are not getting what we want to see.
how many times have you went to the cinema and left to a chrus of boo's
or had the guy sitting next to you scream blue murder at the * acting or berating the story line, with veins popping out of his neck.
if you took in a concert, for the best part of 100 quid, and left frustrated, depressed, angry, that you couldnt see, hear or connect to the artist, but he told you 'awe but you should have seen the rehersals the other day, blinding they where.
would you go back, would you pay another 100 quid to go through it again.
    NO * WAY
BUT FOOTBALL IS A DIFFERENT BEAST.
gordon doesnt look at us that way.
we are all thick and he knows better than all us put together, all our manager shows us is contempt on the football side and in some other ways, now i aint a gordon hater.
which is why i wont slate him but i want my celtic back, back playing the celtic football way.
our standards are being ebbed away whilst under the current manager, its not his fault he doesnt have the answers but we do.
we will be here longer than him and we will play better with a new man at the helm, that i have no doubt. and yes we may not be as victorious or climb any higher in the euro stakes but getting bums back on seats watching what they like watching and not sitting at home decorating or playing ps3's will be achieved with a better spectacle on the pitch, thats a fact.
AND IT AINT IN LENNOXTOWN. ITS AT FEE PAYING CELTIC PARK
do you agree or disagree lets us know !!!

todays game just reaffirms my thoughts previous i dont think wgs knows how to play away from home or what his best team is or anything about celtics playing ethos,
win , lose or draw that theres gonna be a show and the glasgow celtic will be there.

wgs, if theres going to be a lesson in football we are meant to be giving it !!!

again today we have been found to be wanting, against inferior opposition and not for the first time this season.

I almost broke my eyes reading the original post. Forgetting your points for a moment, at least back up your post by using a semblance of decent grammer and comprehension!

it takes me long enough typing mate to get my points across without worrying about some * treating it like an english exam, are you a teacher by chance,
i could take offence at your microdiatribe or is that to incoherant for you , or do you believe i am thick just as wgs does due to my lack of typing skills.
does it mean my views are not to your liking or do they not meet with you approval ,your post's aint exactly grammatically correct either on perusal. maybe i should look at my format.
but does it really matter when we are so pishy :52:
oh, and how do you almost break your eyes reading pal at least use some sort of medical facts to back up your claim of injury whilst using your pc or laptop, do you have a current health and safety policy or risk assesment for being a mod :50:

I do come across as a hater, thats why i tried to pre-empt it.
but really, i am not ross', i have gave him the benefit of the doubt for 3 years and although i like him personally, i cant fathom out his game plan, other than he is a boards dream manager. but how do you critisize without coming across as a hater, when there's so much you find fault with the mans performance.

Ive stood up for him a lot myself but its at a stage now where its just not good enough.

He's faithful to players that are consistently poor (McManus, Samaras, Naylor) and neve changes things until its too late.

I'll always be thankful to him for what he achieved but time for a change in the summer I think, but cant see it.

rossenspeil am wondering if you go to the games mate,
not as a put down but to know, if like me, a book holder, for the last few months, i dont have the want to get out and watch, though i do then wonder why , as i usually go home dispondent at the state of my team.
but the last 2 games noticing the spaces growing in the stadium i obviously aint the only one, so if you go to the home games do you feel the same way or does anyone else feel that way, coz i've never felt so disenchanted with what i am watching just now.
surely the money men see this too.

    hail hail

    your Granda is right.

    highs and lows,
I was in the jungle in the 80's , i was also in Seville, I remember losing the league at Motherwell on the last game of the season and thinking, I can't take it anymore and here I am today. still going strong, my sons 18 months and I can't wait to bring him along.

I have to mention the post & the retaliation.

I can't argue with you because you have so many valid points, very funny at points , had a smile when you where talking about " the guy sitting next to you screaming blue murder at the * acting or berating the story line, with veins popping out of his neck." I would like to mention also that I understood it, i think, exactly as you meant it.

We have a choice though, put the team under more pressure when a pass goes astray with a chorus of "come on Celtic get a grip" or encourage them

I know we can't do anything about the manager, like wise I feel you do to. So it make sense to bite the bullet and sing for the team.

Experience tells us that praise and encouragement improves moral.

There is no point in going the Celtic park this Saturday and sitting there and waiting for a goal before we start to cheer.
We can't complain at the team performance when ours isn't any better.
If we really wanted to win the league this year then we have to show ourselves that we want it.
let the team now we are there for them. raise the roof because the alternative is cutting our nose off to spite the face.
the time has gone for complaining, we have to focus, we have to pick our team up and carry it over the finish line.

it's now or never if we want the league to be ours
