Top 1 signing Wim to Ronny

Who would your top 1 signing be per manager including and since Wim Jansen. Thinking what the player went on to achieve with Celtic even if their best period may not have been under that manager.

For me it would have to be:

Jansen - Larsson
(not that its a difficult choice)

Venglos - Moravcik
(wonderful talent and so easy to watch)

Barnes - Petrov
(Slow start under Barnes but came to his prime under O'neill)

O'neill - Sutton
(Difficult one to call but felt he brought so much to the team)

Strachan - Brown \0/

Mowbray - Keane
(Not alot of options to choose from)

Lennon - Commons
(Some great signings from Lennon but feel Kris just pips it)

Deila - Denayer (so far)
(Gordon has been quality but not sure how much involvement ronny had with the transfer. Guidette seems to have dramatically lost form. High hopes for Mackay-Smith and Armstrong)

O'Neills was the hardest to pick. Was between Lennon and Sutton for me.

 

Lennon is definitely Wanyama all things considered.

 

Commons is our most loyal signing from Lennons time. Wanyama/Virgil/Forster are probably better players though.

 

Best signing for Celtic under O'Neill was probably Lenny himself, 7 years as a player and captain, then went on to coach us and manage us.

I'm sure he played in the mowbray season kit.

 

Aye, pretty much. Think Deila gave the nod though.

 

When you look at the players we lost it's no wonder he struggled.
