Time for Boruc

I don't know what Marshall has to do to be benched ,I think 9 goals in 2 games calls for change no matter how bad our defence is.Boruc looked so good in friendly games that it should be no brainer move for GS.

 

I agree hes not a bad goalie its just to early for him to no1. boruc is an internationalist so he has the experience on his side.

 

i agree too but marshall didn't LET the 9 goals in but he does need a break before his head gets * up.

 

I think WGS didn't expect Boruc to settle so quickly, so he came out and said Marshall was his number one, he would have looked daft if he'd gone back on his word. Boruc looks a more rounded goalie, and IMO deserves to be first choice, but dropping Marshall might shatter his confidence.
Tough choice for Strachan, but as he has already showed with Balde, he's not afraid to make those changes.

Well MON had the resources to stick with the team through crap. He was untouchable. Someone insults MON and they're walking on thin ice. WBS still has something to prove so when something goes wrong he has to change or risk being sacked. Can't imagine MON ever thinking that way...

 

I am not insulting him i think he is the best manager celtic has had since stein. Its just he stuck witht he team for far to long. GS will not do that

 

forgive me if you thought i was slagin o'neil. He is the greatest manager in my 19 year lifespam. I would take him back as manager again.

 

big jock made mistakes too, no such thing as perfection in football management. I don't think MON would do that much better with whats there.

 

True i think he would have bought more quality players than strachan. But you never know the players might prove us all wrong and become gd

 

I think one of MON's weak pionts was in the transfer market.

 

I don't think it was his weak point the board wouldn't give him money to buy players.

 

Boruc should be starting on tuesday imho.

David marshall has conceded 9 goals in 2 games. Not all his fault but some of the goals would not have happened had he attacked the six yard box on crosses.

Not good enough at the moment.

Probably cos he spent 18 million on Hartson, Sutton & Lennon. 6 million on David Fernandez, Sylla, Laursen & Valgaeren... now for a Scottish club i'd say that was spending quite alot, and im sure he signed even more players than that but I forget them atm. Hedman aswell..... He was quite weak in the transfer market. Players at the top of their game were going for about 1 million (Kewell) & Joe Cole for 6 million.

 

If a goali get 9 goals in 2 matches he will loose the sureness and believe in himself. Could happen more faults and more goals agains Celtic could falls. It´s now time to change - Gordy give Boruc a chance -he will fight now also for been the No. 1 in our NT ( Poland ), because Dudek have no praxis.

 

I would expect Boruc to start on Tuesday, Marshall's confidence must be low.

 

Boruc should be in goal on tuesday just get the * back 4 together or were out bhoys. I know we will score a lot off goals its just our defence that iam worried about bhoys. Play Alia+zurawski+hartson up front then Naka playing off them lets go 4 it.
