I watched the game yesterday, and have been watching closely for a while.
We won because of a deflected shot falling into the path of our goalscorer Lee Griffiths, fortunately.

How can anyone be watching this current crop of Celtic players, led by this management, and think 'yeh, they all together deserve another crack at trying to make it to the Champions League next year'?

We need a drastic rethink, and a new manager to come in and sort this mess out. The football is dire. Players are not playing with imagination. There is no plan B if a team parks the bus or plays counter attacking football. We can't even really deal with it in Scotland, and when we try in Europe, we all saw what happened.

I am concerned that with the Zombies resurgence, coming into the league next year, the currently accepted view that they will struggle and we will continue to pick up titles is, i think, misconstrued. Rangers are of course going to find it tough readjusting to life back in the SPFL, and I don't think they will immediately challenge for the title, but they won't be that far off Celtic. I am angry that, when Rangers were dealt the blow, we had the opportunity to really strengthen, build a gap far too wide for Rangers to overcome for years. Instead, we have regressed so much, have very few good players and watching Celtic these days is torturous.

We won because we scored a goal - which is what we were trying to do, and we were down to 10 men.

As poor as some of the play was, there are still positives to take.

I watched the whole game and struggled to see any positives. It was complete mince.
Going down to 10 men and winning in the last minute luckily does not convince me. Consider also that Paradise - previously a fortress - has been a happy hunting ground for SPFL clubs since Halloween. Do no alarm bells ring?

We won with 10 men, might not of been pretty but it's just as important to grind out results as giving teams a doing.

It's not that vague and black and white though is it?

    Who said it was?

We were pish overall, but we banded together and pushed on for a winner after going down to 10 men - is that not a sign of some sort of determination for some people?

I wasn't replying to you, I meant the question posed by the OP.

It was time for a rethink after the distasterous Europa League campaign, it's well overdue now. The board won't admit it though, and their reluctance to do so will go down as a mistake that set us back years.

Strengthening from a position of strength is something Celtic just don't do. We continually build up a head of steam and then regress.
