Aye, they're overpriced & overrated. As you say, the doughnuts out greggs are just as good, if not better, for a third of the price.

I understand people going once or twice to try these places but how can you afford to go to kk all the time and waste that much on a doughnut.

I've not been to it, doubt I'll go either....I like Costa.

A skinny latte is made with skimmed milk rather than the full fat milk :50: I always get a skinny latte with sugar free caramel syrup :52:

Always feel like a complete * in these coffee shops and out of place and comfort zone. If I am by myself in town and have to wait on someone or something always end up in a pub. Don't understand the new phenomenon of men having "catch ups" over coffee or socialising in coffee shops...this isn't France. Each to their own though

This is Glasgow . Folk should be in pubs. Not skullduggery joints like this.

Pubs are our culture. End of.

For those of you thinking Tim's is some hip posh coffee shop where your order is a paragraph long - FOH.

Tim's is about as basic as you get. Coffee, tea, donuts*** (you Scottish *, its spelt right) and some other decent pastries. Tims is the place you go to avoid the Starbucks' of the world. It is a holy establishment.

I thought you 'septic lites' [sic] took pride in the fact that you spelt & pronounced words correctly? Or are you influenced by the French?

    Imagine getting called a * by a Canadian :93:

Bunch of whiny * here :giggle1:

It's a coffee shop. No more pretentious than any modern pub selling a few dozen brands of 'micro- brewery' beers. :nonono:

A country that's continuously mocked for saying words like "eh" and "aboot" prides itself in pronouncing things right? Back to social studies bud :50:

Just bought Timbits and they're unreal. Decent price aswell as was the steak and cheese panini.

Mobbed but. Wonder when the novelty will wear off
